The seas have lifted up, Lord,
the seas have lifted up their voice;
the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.
Psalm 93.3-4
I am content to let the prophetic words come from others and to remain in place with You. If that’s alone within a cave walking together viewing the walls with images of our life together, then that is where I would be. If it’s high on a mountain, with war raging below, that is where I would be. If it’s in a forest with no one else around, with words between us somehow resonating within, that is where I would be.
The world rages, yet there is peace with You. Men seek for the possessions of others, while You freely give abundantly. Men fight and, with evil’s insistence, destroy, yet the Kingdom is forever. Men lie, cheat, and steal – You are honest with Your heart. Men rage, the oceans roil with their hate – yet the waves show Your strength over all things.

It is, once again, a matter of perspective: there is the one of man and the other of the Kingdom. You are now able to see both at the same moment. With one you see there is war – with the other eternal peace. With one you see a heart that lacks – with the other all things can be freely given, then given away. With one you see hopelessness, despair, sickness, disease, death – with the other all has been overcome. Your perspective in any moment then becomes where you would reside – with men, or by My side. I would have you with Me always.
The oceans allow for the two perspectives at once: what do you see? Do you fear at the raging storms, the overwhelming force of possible destruction, the sweeping away of all things you hold dear? Or do you see the possibility of walking within the waves, perhaps upon them, with the understanding it is My strength that upholds you, that protects you, that lead you to shores of peace and prosperity? Your view determines your possibilities.
Judgment brings redemption. Death brings life. Lack brings abundance. Searching brings wisdom. Incarceration brings freedom. Darkness brings light. Nothing brings creation. Evil brings goodness. All is in your perspective – and with Me you would see the truth.
