And this is faith: that I will do as I have said

More than anything I want this interaction. But I see this tendency to drift: from the news that for some reason bothers me greatly, to impending war, and yes, the evil that seems to abound unchecked. I seem on hold; maybe waiting for something. I don’t seem to be seeing what I want to and honestly, that probably bothers me the most.

I struggle with waiting apparently. With nothing to involve myself I get bored, easily distracted, selfish. It’s not my intent, nor desire – I truly love my interaction with You. I guess it’s mostly not seeing this interaction move from the inside out into my circumstances.

But I do sense the strengthening of my foundation in You, the firming of all my interests in the way I would want them – and Your involvement within them – my family settled, my means of support stationary moving forward through the year.

Yet none of these are as important to me as You but I look to them as the avenues of Your involvement, or lack thereof, in my life. I know that is incorrect, but again, I drift. My one means of life support is in reading Your words to me, and hearing Your voice – I want to be settled there and nowhere else.

You have to be aware by now that a walk with Me is like no other, unrelated to any previous experience, without any previous understanding or personal insight. It is new, unknown by any, unknown by you. It’s not something you can understand within your own thoughts, your own wisdom. It is of another kingdom, another language, and in no time reference at all.

In such a place it is impossible for you to absorb any understanding without someone to lead. And I am here to lead. I will lead you to where you would go in Me. I will lead because that is My desire for you. I will show you wonders unknown, experiences unthought, love unrevealed.

This is not a journey of suffering but one of love expressed, a place within Me for you. And this is faith: that I will do as I have said. You need not fear the unknown for not knowing it; you need not see what you feel you need to understand My faithfulness to you.

Your distractions are just that – a movement away from Me. But you witness continually My presence when your eyes return to where your heart wants to be, with Me. I will always be here. Always. And so trust that I will bring about all I have said – all the prosperity, all the insight, all the wisdom, all the goodness I have promised to those who remain faithful in Me. For this is the birthright to all those who would give their hearts to Me, for I will in no way cast them out but will in return give them all of Me.

Only be faithful to these words too, and not just to the ones you would remember that make you feel good. But that even in the difficult times you would return to this word – the one that expresses My love and intentions for you. They will not fail, for I will not fail to bring about that in your life which brings us closer together. For this is My heart for you.
