Day 153

Let Me speak of terrorism: as is usual among men there is the fear of what they have experienced, what they have seen, and the extrapolation of that into their future. Yet they fail to see the terror that lies within, that which is beyond their perception, that which is subtle; that comes without wings, within stealth, within the heart. This is the hardness of the heart that comes to men who only see with their eyes. They do not fear the repercussions of other men over the actions they have taken to remove the insecurity from their hearts and minds, as if they could accomplish that on their own. It is forever a losing battle.

No, they have not seen the true enemy of their souls. He is stealth, sure of his victim’s weaknesses, for he sees that most men move with the same reasoning: to overcome all things that would prevent safety, security, and well-being. And he sees that men will justify their actions as honorable, true, and therefore worthwhile, even to the demise of others. It has always been and will always be, and the enemy knows this with certainty.

It is therefore within man’s wisdom to know that to continue in this manner will bring the same in return, and this fits the enemy’s plan the plan to destroy man with greed, self-preservation, power. And these he uses with exceptional effectiveness, as witnessed with man’s incessantly endless wars. Yet, having this wisdom has not changed man’s actions, rather, it has emboldened him to a single objective that of overcoming all others that he may finally have all that he has desired. There is now greater destruction of each other, greater poverty, greater insecurity, greater death.

It will not end until the one who moves man in this fashion is ended. And that time is soon.

For now, there is awareness, and a wisdom to know of the enemy’s actions. This awareness is his undoing if the heart of the one now seeing is changed from the destruction of others and set in the direction of Me. Against this the enemy has no power. For the one who looks to Me has all things, is aware of all things by truth, has all understanding, has all power, has all freedom. There is no match from the enemy against these pillars, for they are immutable, and stand forever.

Therefore, let not your heart be tossed by the events of the past or those of now among men, but let it rejoice that it has found a place in Me where it will no longer be subject to the follies of man, but will reside in peace, and rest, and freedom, and in a wholeness only found in this place. Again, home is it’s longing, and I am home.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but who cannot kill the soul; but above all, be afraid of him who can destroy both the soul and the body in hell. Matthew 10.28
