Day 229

So the days pass, and I have been moving in the way of Freedom for a bit. I am experimenting with the way of ‘seeing from the end’, yet not having anything substantive happening. It is, perhaps, only small steps in my progress of understanding the way of creation – maybe just working through each day with the emotions of the past couple of weeks, and maybe just needing to find some closure, an ending to the heartache I need to work through. Work makes this somewhat difficult as I also need to be with those doing the same thing.

One day becomes another, yet I still try to reach for what it is I would create. You motivate me to do so.

There has been so much you have seen, experienced, and welcomed into your life over the previous two years we have been speaking, and if you were to measure, you would see the progress. But you need not, for each day we are together you will see more than in days past.

Your heart longs for more, as it should, but as you now know progress is never made in accomplishing but in being. There is always the tendency to measure our togetherness by what you can see accomplished, as if being can only be seen by doing. There is more delight in just being. Can we not just walk together in the cool of the evening? Can we not just look for each other, and not necessarily be going anywhere? Once having found all being together we would not want to become lost again being apart.

With Me you will see beyond your understanding, you will experience beyond your knowledge, overwhelmed by the immensity of the kingdom. Yet there will always be Me – first us then everything else. Seek that beginning place, with Me, and everything else will be as it should, even creation. Has not everything in the past unfolded in the present? And so will Creation. Be patient in your learning, in your exercising of that learned, in your measurement of progress if you must. Again, as always, it is not in the doing but in the being, and the being is always within Me.

I have to admit that not every day is like the last, with the usual activities, but there is always a sense of newness because of You. There is something to hear that encourages, that reveals. And that makes every day different even when they seem to reveal little progress. Yet there is always Your voice, and I easily forget I walk with You, for I seem to always be striving to see something. I forget that there is no end with You – life will not be over at some point and therefore I must do something important with the time I have left. No, life should be with You, to hear Your voice, to live within Your words. I need to be reminded that this place is all I need.

And it is all you need. Here you will find rest, and peace, and the promise of all the things fulfilled your heart would wish to see. There is not before and next, only now. There is no creation of one thing and then another as in the manner of a list – for all things created are from us, they are us, express us, and will always be a part of us.

Each moment of a creation is to be seen as important, even the process – see the making, not just the end of your desire. See the beginning, the need for attention to detail, the development to maturity, the wholeness of your dream. It will seem never to complete, for it is always growing…and always good.

It is the process of becoming that brings joy. It is as in your writing: there is a thought, then an expression that becomes a part in the chain of the narrative of the whole. As the thought is turned, examined for all that can be revealed, it is then added to the prior understanding. Revelation of your being continues, always with the next thought.

This is life in Me. And with Me there is no ending, no completion – there is always something new, something unexplored, a new possibility. For this is the work of Wisdom: to reveal all I Am to the one who would be all he is.
