A pure heart resolved makes the will to follow

I am at once confronted with the idea that the revelation of the kingdom within does not easily translate to the overcoming without. It’s as if I am aware I have some power and authority but not sure what do with it, and certainly not confident in its use against something entrenched and powerful on its own. Yet here I am – recognizing I am putting my resources into an effort to overcome something that appears much more powerful, much more established, much more experienced in being, living, and eternal, though I know that is not true.

Yet here I am – with the assurance that You have ordained this moment, strengthened my resolve, revealed a power within just by Your spoken words. As with Gideon, it is a strategy of being near You that will bring success in this encounter. It will not be easy; yet I know a battle can be won in an instant of obedience. I pray for a heart that remains close to You, a constant desire to hear Your voice, a faith to embrace what You have said, whether I understand Your words or not – to exercise the provided Wisdom to move ahead. It may appear that there are setbacks, yet I know Your words will prevail if I remain close.

As with most things in life it is the testing of the heart and not the abilities that determine the outcome. A heart resolved makes the will to follow. I know your heart is after Me, and that alone guarantees victory if the heart stays the course.

My power is displayed in those whose heart is pure, and I have made your heart pure. I have given you strength to overcome. I have given you purpose. I have given Wisdom because it has been asked for; yet Wisdom moves of its own accord, unknown and not understood, and overcomes all that it sees to overcome. It is freely given to all that ask; and you have asked for a good thing to be revealed within your life. And so it shall be.

Yet Wisdom is far above your understanding but moves of its own accord within if you remain close. None know its power, certainly not the enemy. Yet he perceives it better than you at this moment, sees the power within it, and fears the outcome of the completion of Wisdom. And he knows the closeness of Wisdom to you. That will be his place of attack, what he perceives as the greatest of weaknesses, but he shall not prevail. For I have seen the end from the beginning, and I will have My victory through you.

Stay the course, never leave My side and I will reveal all things to you, what is and what is to come. Be steady in your commitments, firm in your convictions, committed in your pursuits – the enemy cannot overcome a pure heart.
