Build a strong foundation of faith for going forward in character and confidence of action

Day 84

There seems, at least for me, this fine line between one who fears the future 1984 lifestyle and the one who walks confidently in the understanding of eternal peace. I waver between the two daily, and I am aware of my incessant back-and-forth attitude.

It’s apparent to me that in the morning I am confident in Your words but by evening, after an interaction onslaught of reading and thinking, have drifted the other way. At issue, I think, is learning how to distinguish between being informed and active in the expression of truth and hiding away with my safe interaction with You intact.

Consider the newness of our relationship; you are just coming into and understanding the truth of it – how My presence is one of peace, wisdom, and understanding of the human condition and events with which man deals. It will take time for your character to reflect this newness of condition; but eventually, with your diligence in discovering the truth of our relationship, you will come to be more confident in your outward walk.

You are young in the things of the Kingdom; you can be more understanding of yourself, and the process within which we work, to build a strong foundation of faith for going forward in strength of character and confidence of action. Allow this work to proceed by remaining close to Me.

Even now you are beginning to see that your opinions are much more informed, much more reasoned, with having some observation from My perspective. It is the inflamed passion of opinion that causes the extreme emotional damage within man, and it is the emotional action taken, with the instigation of the enemy, that leads to man’s destruction. With Me this is not so, for I have come to heal man, to bring eternal peace to his broken heart, to free the captive, and to release man from the darkness that surrounds a pure heart.

The enemy is wise in his destruction, but that which has been brought by him upon man is soon to be brought upon his kingdom, and that kingdom will be no more. Yet, in a little while, you will have the understanding courage to walk within that which you are learning – a confidence and a zeal of assurance that what you say and do are of Me. That is the essence of being one, and you are one with Me.
