I know of no other sense of desire, and the peace my heart yearns for, than to be like David in his one desire: 'That I would dwell in the house of the Lord, to see the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.' I feel that is the place we have drawn to together.
It is not so much meeting You where You might be, or meeting me where I reside, but meeting together in the moment to where we would be going. I always see it as a journey, one my heart is joyful to take, for I would be led to places that inspire, that lift my being, that leave lasting memories. I choose not to be saddened by leaving well known places of the past, for I know there are others waiting. I can always go back.
And I know I will, for the greatest impression is not just the places I've been but who I have been with.

It’s not about finding You where You might linger,
or standing still where I am rooted.
It’s the meeting, the merging,
in this fleeting moment,
where we’re headed together.
A journey, always a journey—
my heart hums with joy to take it.
Led to places that spark,
that lift my soul,
that carve memories
deep and lasting.
I don’t mourn the familiar left behind.
Other places wait,
their arms open.
I can return,
and I will,
always.
But what endures,
what truly shapes me,
is not just the places I’ve wandered,
it’s who I’ve walked with—
those that make the journey
unforgettable.
And that is the deep sense of longing we have for each other that has transpired your entire life to now. It is the same life that has been built with your wife, not only the memories of doing, but those of being together, that make the memories special. There is so much more for you to see, to experience, to hold close.
This sense of longing will never leave, for it is love's work, to bring the two into one. It is these moments that bind, love's expression, destiny's purpose. There is no other. This is the life well loved, not just one of experience, of accomplishment, of possession - but one of union with the One in which all of these can be known in their fullness. Of this there is no yearning of the past, for they always continue in the present moment, and no circumstance can alter this dwelling with Me.
Come here more often for I always wait for your presence. For I too find My heart full when you are here.
