Seek to listen for My voice, then watch to see in amazement what is to follow

I hear myself wanting to say that there are among people so many issues I do not understand; that I am naïve to think I could move into the lives of others with an effective word from God; that it is presumptive of me to think so simplistically; that my words of creation do not account for the great difficulties of men; that I do not understand their sorrows.

Then I hear another voice: to remember those of the past who questioned when You spoke to them with words to move forward with seemingly impossible tasks; to give words to others that sounded foolish; to do things that seemed even idiotic. Yet they believed their encounter with You and moved in response.

I know I need to hear this voice much more clearly and to not listen to the one that would hesitate, or speak negatively, or insist that its knowledge and wisdom is greater than Yours, or even speak of its history in guiding me to where I am today. It is subtle, and insistent, and its pattern of communication reminds me of all the times I listened, and many times, seemed to be led astray. Yet I would lean to the one I am not so familiar – for with it I see the possibility of a life I want, with great possibilities and experiences.

I would not plead with you but would give greatness to a passionate heart that is after Me. Men have accomplished much listening to their own voice but rarely have touched hearts without My understanding. Compassion and understanding only come from Me, for only through Me will Goodness be expressed.

You have heard much, and many things of our kingdom have been said multiple times, that you may embrace My thoughts toward you. It is these words that will provide a foundation for you to see that which you have heard. It will be these words that give you confidence as you move forward with the things in Me that may seem unsettling and onerous; but they are meant to lift your heart into realms unknown. Remember they will accomplish what has been spoken.

Could I not just say them and do all things Myself? We are together, and it is My heart’s great desire to see you move as I do, to speak as I do, to create as I do, to experience as I do, and to reveal to you the fullness of our kingdom and the fullness of who you are – and that means hearing and moving into realms unknown, not understood, never experienced by you.

There will be no comfort within your own voice in these places I would take you. Only in My voice will you have the strength to move – and that means trusting My voice to encourage, uplift, strengthen, and express My great love for your advancement into that which you are. Seek to listen for My voice, then watch to see in amazement what is to follow, for it is in this place I reveal My innermost being.
