Day 15

You know my heart for my friend, how I am moved by his suffering. You know also my frustration at how disease and sickness move upon the earth, seemingly with impunity, free to destroy and deliver death. I despise its presence.

As do I. It is never My intent that disease and sickness would reign, but men have made it so. They have lived lives, as has been said, of quiet desperation, within themselves. They seek not after that which brings life but believe they are life.

I hear what you are saying, but I am still not happy. Men do not seem to know they are ignorant. Are they judged with sickness because of their ignorance?

In My kingdom there is wholeness and life without end, presence without separation.

If, then, there is connection with You why is there sickness? Why my friend? If with God all things are possible then where is healing when I want it?

For Me it is, for you it is possible. How? Believe. Believe that I can reach into your friend's life and make that which is not. You ask for healing, but you are asking healing for the body. The body is corruptible and will cease in some moment; it will not live forever. But My presence is eternal and so the healing I bring is the eternal healing. Pray for that kind of healing. I understand your concern and compassion for his physical suffering, but a better prayer would be for an enlightened heart, a greater awareness of Me. In My presence is then the healing of the body.

Then I should concentrate my efforts more on wisdom and less on what it does?

Yes, focus on I Am and what you want will come to pass. Recall as you focused on Wisdom, Wisdom called Freedom, Prosperity, and Might. They were revealed as Wisdom was sought. Pray wisdom and for power of creation for your friend, that the Kingdom may be revealed in his life.
