It is always a great comfort to be reminded of Your words. I cannot fathom how I have missed this interaction for so long. It seems that I can relax, look to express love in all I do, and maybe I can see my way to overcoming without the full-blown intensity that the world seems to demand to accomplish.

Caleb is the example I have put on your heart. It is the intent to discover the greatness of the individual, of you, that has been laid on your heart. One can always rest and be done with movement, but My kingdom is one of expansion, of experience, of discovery. That doesn’t happen without movement. Overcoming is not always a battle, and not always for you to fight if there is to be one, but it is always to be engaged. In chess, as in war, without movement there is defeat; for the enemy is always moving, always planning, always scheming.

How do I measure what is the acceptable cost for moving ahead? What is my responsibility to and for others that are with me? Do I assume they can make the same decision for conquest as me?

It is the difference between a leader and a follower. Both have the same objective, desire, and hope to overcome but each have their responsibility; one can strategize, one can implement. Your wife will follow because she believes in you as she believes in Me. Your destinies are tied together, and you are on the same path to fulfillment. She is willing to go where I take you because she is willing to go where I take her. Your responsibility is not so much to take care of her as it is to move in the direction of overcoming; that needs to be your intent. I will watch over her as I watch over you.
