When you become fully aware of another then Goodness has its power revealed

I see that circumstances presented themselves for a miracle to occur: the feeding of thousands, the need to be somewhere, the many occurrences for healing, even the need to pay taxes. These were not out of a desire to create something but a response to a situation. If I can just look at this part of creation: how is the power of goodness manifested in these opportunities? If I am aware that within an event an opportunity exists for goodness to be expressed, how am I able to do that? How is healing accomplished; how are thousands fed; how, like Peter, am I able to walk on water?

I know this is a point of understanding you have contemplated for many years. You have struggled in your understanding and in the application of the power you know is available through Me and believe you have seen little result from your actions. And therein lies your difficulty. You have an expectation of what you would like to see and yet have failed to see what you have already created.

You now know the power to create lies within, that it is within Me and freely given to you. And you have used this power, yet unknowingly, to create, without seeing that which you have created. This is where wisdom teaches its work – that one would have their eyes opened to that which they are currently creating. You have seen some effect of your words to others, and have been conscious of this interaction with others, yet have not been fully aware of their impact upon others. This you are now seeing and learning to distinguish from the creating you have been unaware of from the past.

You are beginning to experience the power of goodness moving to and from another, not just something you turn on at will but rather express as a matter of will from who you understand yourself to be. And it is that place first where you need understanding: who are you, and do you comprehend, do you know, do you walk in confidence of that place – are you aware? It is with that understanding, that knowing, that is the beginning of miracles.

Repeating My name in a situation can bring a change – walking within who you know yourself to be is a greater manifestation of goodness for it comes from the heart, from a presence that lives within, from being together. It is a recognition that it is us that moves creation and not just you or Me. It is when our hearts are touched, when we care for the one that needs a touch, when compassion is heightened, that the power of goodness is revealed. It is not just to display but to give to another the means to believe. It is more than just to meet a need – it is to change a life forever. You need to see this as the opportunity for goodness, and not just the act itself. When you become fully aware of another – their pain, their sorrow, their helplessness – then Goodness has its power revealed. Search for the compassion within your heart first, feel the need, and the power to overcome will be within your hands.

Look to your heart. You sense the underlying power even now with your family – with a word in the proper time, with a gift of meaning, purpose and encouragement. This is Goodness on display; this is Creation. As you see your heart you will also see the means to change that which you are seeing. Goodness is the expression of the heart, and of being.

Remember to be kind to yourself as you are learning; there is so much more to understand, and it will take effort to come to a place of knowing Goodness. His secrets are deep, but freely discoverable to those who would search for Him with a steadfast purpose of heart. Patience will be rewarded with that which will uplift your heart and desire to create more. For it is who you are and My joy to show you.
