With Me there is no deception, no intermittent satisfaction, no momentary pleasure

It is good to be where my heart belongs; I know that this place is where I want to be – with You. It is so interesting that I would wander away from that which I love to a place of desires I wish not to have and find no fulfillment after a desire has been met. I would rather not have left in the first place. How is it that the desire You bring does not seem as strong a pull for me as the other?

Your desires, those apart from Me, seek instant gratification. They are intermittent, and sometimes rare, but you see their fulfillment, as if they can give you a spark of life. They are fleeting, and as such, unfulfilling, for you keep coming back to them as if they would change, as would you. You see how they are deceiving.

With Me there is no deception, no intermittent satisfaction, no momentary pleasure. With Me there is always belonging, always purpose, always love. That is fulfillment. It is, though, a sense of life you have not experienced before and so it is easy for you to fall back into the one you are comfortable with, fulfilling or not, for it is all you know.

But I have come to give you life, a life in Me that will capture your heart, mind, and soul – that you will desire for it more than you have desired your own. Stay with Me, and you will have that belonging firmed, that desire for Me strengthened, the purpose of your life revealed. Even now as you step aside from Me you yearn for Me. See that as the beginning of our being together forever, even as I have planned. You will meet your true desire in Me and will come to know the complete satisfaction that life has to offer.

This is my dwelling place, this is my temple, these are the walls I would surround myself with; this is where I would live; to see, to hear, to know. This is my heart.

And you have now seen this is where I am always. When you are here I am always here. When you leave this is where I wait for you, and when you return it is as if you have not been gone, for My heart is full once again. Each day you are here your heart will be strengthened to remain. Each day you are here will be a day that the kingdom is to be revealed to you. In that place our commitment and our relationship with each other will grow, and you will yearn for Me as no other, for you will find all you have been searching for – the rest, peace, belonging, purpose, and joy that has always only been in Me.
