With Me there is no disappointment; why would I not give good gifts to My children all the time?

Day 92

I can see I am on the edge of control; like a child seeing how far I can go before I have gone too far how much of life can be my expression versus Yours. But I can also see that it is not good for me: I am constantly playing with this and not moving forward into the expression of life I want.

So, I sense that it is important for me to understand what is happening. Your words have given me clarification, and I see where there is a choice to be made. I don’t know why I am having such difficulty making it when it is truly what I want. Maybe it’s the idea I am giving up something I do not want to give up in exchange for something I have not seen – the known versus the unknown. It looks like God to me – faith.

It is indeed like a child with baubles in hand, needing to give them up for what is unseen in My hand. The child cannot see what’s in the hand and so looks into My eyes for the trust that there will be no disappointment when the hand is opened. With Me there is no disappointment; why would I not give good gifts to my children all the time? As always it remains your choice.

…how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?

– Matthew 7.11b
