Day 146
I see that I am quick to accept statements by others, especially if they are presented in a believable way, many times to the detriment of my understanding of what is true, and that I have a difficult time sorting what might appear to be true from what might actually be true. It seems that believing experts can lead to disastrous consequences. Yet I would not want to overlook Wisdom, for it resides within many others. Is the better way to bring things I read, see, and study to You for seeing the truth of them?

You would be remiss not to do so. The act alone, of seeking to discover truth, comes from a deeper examination of that truth which you seek. A light shining upon something also reveals the light within. Do not be afraid of discovering your weaknesses, whether in knowledge, understanding, or wisdom for it is only in that place that you will gain in each.
I know that is hard for you – you want to be a source of those same things; but the wiser man recognizes that he lacks much in those areas, submits himself to learning, only to discover later that he has gained what he has sought. Keep this same humble attitude of discovery and you will have your answers. Do not fear to frame your questions in a way to understand, even the simplest, for that is the beginning of Wisdom, and what you seek.
