This is your peace, that you walk in the light

I sense I am becoming more settled, more at peace, with world circumstances. Perhaps events are far removed, and I don’t have the panicked urgency of doing something. Still, it saddens me that men would pursue a course of destruction using war as a means to an end. Must it always come to that – war to gain one’s end? Cannot negotiations for something wanted begin with peace for both parties? Why do leaders willingly sacrifice those they lead for personal ideals – and of gain for themselves – and not simply seek the best for those they are to serve?

You are asking if men know what they are doing if they did would they have sacrificed the Son? The heart is where the real war has been raging since the dawn of man – and will continue until his end.

What you now see being revealed is the heart of man: it rages against what is not, that what it wants it might have, and would have at any cost to others. It is a manifest loss – this sadness and desolation of men’s souls – yet also a place of powerful forgiveness. Still, there are few offering such forgiveness. It is only from a place of personal peace that forgiveness can be offered and that is what you are feeling now.

You see man’s confusion, his misdirection, his loss, and you have the words of hope, and joy, and peace. But if man does not seek these then he rejects them when they are offered, for they do not accomplish his desire only yours to share. Yours is truth uncoerced but few see what is offered.

I have given all that men might have all their heart’s desires, yet few would receive; they believe they know their own hearts but see from a place of darkness. Their eyes do not see light so how can they see the true state of their heart, or anything else? Darkness covers.

It is the seed of light that changes men’s hearts, and that you have in abundance. See what you give as light but let the results be with the light – I am Light, and I will be revealed, and reveal the truth, wherever I am. Am I not in your heart, and has not your vision changed to seeing the truth?

Therefore walk in the light, as you are in the light, and you will be revealed as light to a darkened world that knows not its need. Eyes are always drawn to the light; the darker the unknown vision the more one sees what darkness is not when the light comes. This is your peace, that you walk in the light, for we are the Light.

And the man that lies before God, like a mirror in the sunshine, receives on the still surface of his soul [but not, like the mirror, on the surface only, but down into its deepest depths] the reflected image of Him on Whom he gazes. ‘We all with unveiled face, mirroring glory, are changed into the same image.’ So to walk in the light is only possible when we are drawn into it, and our feeble feet made fit to tread upon the radiant glory, by the thought that He is in the light.
