Man is within a cycle of fear and destruction, of peace and restoration, of destruction again

Day 143

I look upon the issues that confront me almost daily: the spread of Covid and the resultant lockdowns, repression of freedom in speech and action, and the plans of the few with limited understanding with seemingly an agenda of control; the political stances by those in power to the threat of war; the disregard of those with control over a nation’s wealth to strip the individual of theirs; the plans to divide along the lines of race, thought, and work. If this is troubling me now, then I understand it is but the beginning of greater troubles ahead.

You have spoken of looking but not seeing, hearing but not listening. Looking back a bit I am confronted with both many times – I don’t seem to be aware of my behavior. But I desire to, and I desire not to be so overwhelmed by these things happening that I miss being where I should be – next to You. Even in that place I feel unsteady – for Your words say that even I might be deceived by a goodness that is not from You. I pray to not look down and in to all these so much, but to look up that I may see the true gathering of goodness, the true release of freedom. I would not ignore but would desire to see and listen clearly.

You have not experienced the flood, nor any terror of world war, nor any war, not famine, not homelessness, nor poverty. And yet you are on the edge of witnessing all of them – and note your fears. And in those times where goodness had seemed to disappear, and men had daily thoughts of death – note that it still was not the end. You do not have to be within any of these things to understand their harm upon man; you can be with Me, above and observant, and live in Wisdom – it is but the beginning again.

Man is within a cycle of fear and destruction, of peace and restoration, of destruction again. It will never cease – some men will always rise above other men, for their hearts are covered with the impure, with greed, with fear, with self-preservation. But your heart is covered with Mine, and it is there you should always seek to be – nearby and within, that you may truly see and be listening for My words. That is your security, your peace, your future, your goodness, your wisdom. It is where you are now. Do you not feel different: calmer, more kind, more forgiving? Always seek to be here and you will see My coming.
