Keep your focus here and the darkness has no power to overcome

The darkness rolls from the horizon, black, roiling, menacing; and I am captivated by it. For I have never experienced anything like it. I am not fearful of it, for what I see behind has chased fear away. There is a Light as the noonday that the darkness does not see, so bright that men’s eyes need to be shielded, so intense they must hide. That which would come upon man to destroy is destroyed.

Can I possibly be excited to see what will happen?

You have sensed what troubles the heart. It is fear realized, yet has been expected all along, and has now come. It is new for you but has always been, for man reaps what he sows.

Yet your vision must remain as you have seen: that you do not fear what comes before but embrace what comes behind. For I chase down darkness even as it has been overcome; it will not endure but will have its moment. That moment is when men’s hearts will fail – yet will I scoop them up into My arms and shield them from harm.

It is inevitable that men will have their wars, but just as inevitable that peace will follow. My peace shall reign for the enemy knows not what he is about – he seeks to destroy yet life is abundant. He laughs at the destruction in his wake yet does not realize the doom that lies before him. His heart is to destroy – but Mine to give life abundantly to all who would seek for it, the true life in Me.

It is good that you step back, not just see what is in front of your eyes but to see all that lies before you – all the greatness, all the light, all the possibilities that an abundant life has to offer. Keep your focus here and the darkness has no power to overcome. Continue as you are within, seek the grandest of possibilities, be with Me and your heart will always be lifted in time of trouble. Darkness may endure for a season, but Light always comes.

Stay true to this inner vision, where you commune with the source of all life. Here, in this sanctuary of spirit, your heart will find its buoyancy, lifting you above the tides of trouble. Yes, shadows may linger for moments, but they are mere preludes to the dawn, which always, without fail, breaks through.

Embrace this journey with the divine, where every step is towards greater light, and your soul will dance even in the face of darkness, knowing well that joy comes with the morning.
