Day 139

I would not grumble at the speed of communication, or of the time within which my desires would be met, nor even if they would be met at all. I would have a heart, and mind, that is aware of my closeness to You, in seeing Your care for me and my family. Even in the desert I would see Your hand upon us. I would be mindful of that care even if it remains repetitive day after day: that there is provision, and safety, and togetherness. I would remember that the journey is always toward a destination of goodness and prosperity.

Contentment within Me is different than man’s concept that of ease and comfort; it is more an awareness of My presence in all that you would do. You have seen the guidance, the protection, the promise that I am always with you. You have also seen that goodness is sought, created, and given – that it is the work of relationship. It is not to be withheld as if it is in lack, nor is it to be stored for your own comfort but is to be given away to all – and that is the work. It would be given with speed, and overwhelmingly – within joy and surprise. This you have seen from the inception of Wisdom – the abundance of goodness, its power, its creation, in its giving. It is freedom, and the path of freedom.

Now be aware that all I have done is to have My goodness go before you. This you have asked for, and it has been given, as it always is to those who ask. See that those I have given to you have a set course for that same goodness to be revealed to all, and that it is your work to give to all that all may receive. You are not alone in this task, for it is My joy to always be with you in its manifestation; but you have seen it is you that gives it away to all who would come your way.

Note that it is given without judgment, without worthiness, without questioning. Would you perceive abuse in its desire? How can one abuse that which is so abundant that it is beyond comprehension or imagination? Freely you have received, freely give.
