This faith in One that would erase all doubt

Do you doubt?

I seem to, though I wish I did not. It seems to sneak into my thoughts when I begin to question what I am hearing. It’s interesting to me that without You I seem to doubt all the time, and consider it normal – if not wise – behavior. Yet, with You I wish not to doubt, to free myself from doubt and release all I am into You, and into what I am hearing.

I believe I am doing a better job of that – just taking Your words as I receive them, capturing them within my heart. Sometimes they seem so far beyond my understanding that doubt rises and I start to question why I do not understand, as if understanding removes doubt.

I am beginning to see that doubt is at the edge of faith at times; but I am better now at just allowing my faith to run and to see where it takes me. And doubt then seems to disappear.

And is it not freeing, this faith in One that would erase all doubt, all fear, all lack in all things? Is there a better place for you to run free, without the chains of having to understand, to reason?

It is as a child: free to trust the relationship as it is, to watch it grow, to be confident within it; trusting, assured of safety, a place of belonging without fear. You can freely embrace our relationship for it has been freely given. The freedom from doubt you place within Me has forever been established and will never change.

Be free to explore, without judgment, without penalty, without fear – and without doubt. Would I lead you astray? I am not one to provide loss, for I have suffered loss that I might give all to you. Therefore, banish doubt, for it has no control over your thoughts unless you give to it – embrace freedom, for there is an unlimited abundance to receive.
