Expectation creates the arena of life for Me to be revealed

I feel a positioning, a stance, a settling in for expectation. I know my life in You is not one of the mundane, the everyday, the routine; it's one of movement, of growth, of seeking the One I know. Where might He be? I will find the treasure I hold. I know I am in transition: from here to there, from there to You, even as I am here with You now. What is the new? What are the possibilities to be revealed? I don't know; I just know with You that they are. Am I to be relegated to the sunset, the ending? Or is there more? I sense there is more, and I will continue to position myself for the more. I will step forward slightly: left foot, right foot, and tap the ground twice  my foundation. This is what I have trained for  eyes up, position low to receive. Why continually put myself in this position if not to expect?

You do not disappoint.

Expectation. We have spoken much of it over the years, and always it is the one action of Wisdom that moves within your life.

You have expected to hear and I have responded.

You have expected to prosper, yet have you gained in the way of Prosperity? Yes, in the way of the heart.

You have expected that Freedom of Me is freedom in you, and you have sensed the release of all things that would hold you back from a life fulfilled.

You have expected Creation to flow from your fingers, and has it not?

You have expected Wisdom, and has it not been revealed?

You have expected My presence, perhaps in the way of others, but unique for you - and is that not expectation confirmed?

You have expected Might - not all things are revealed at once; allow some to remain in expectation, including different appearances of all the previous.

Should expectation cease? Never, for I have so much more of Me to reveal, to give.

Your future is never defined by the past; it can be its result but never its expectation fulfilled. Reach for the unlimited; expect the stars. This is the future and not the past.

Expectation creates the arena of life for Me to be revealed; expectation is the 'seeing' of potential, of truth expressed. This is where you are to look and not in the memories of the past - these have their place in your heart and are not placed in the future as signposts of what is to come. The ways of the past do not repeat unless you allow it.

Expectation creates the place for the future, a place for Me to walk, and for us to walk together. Age is not an issue: am I not eternal? Will I not always walk with you? As I walk expectation arises; it should be no less for you.

Position yourself as you have envisioned upon the field of life - expectation will not fail to materialize.

In the dawn of expectation, the heart leans forward like a flower toward the beginning light — Your words unfold like a river revealing its course: gentle, insistent, alive with the pulse of what is come. They continually remind me that expectation is not wishing — flung like a stone into the void — but is to be my sacred inhale before Your exhale of grace.

It is the quiet hand of Wisdom turning the key in locks I don't know are there.

You speak of Prosperity, not like gold secured in hidden banker's vaults, but as the wealth of a heart that is not burdened and becoming full in the massive arena of enough.

You speak of Freedom, not like chains released, but as threads unraveling that once bound the soul —releasing me to dance in the possibilities of who I am.

You speak of Creation from fingers? It spills out in words scrawled just after midnight; or now, perhaps, the great suspension bridge built from the architect's dream laid out on paper.

You speak of Your presence... not displayed in thunder but in the quiet of a moment.

And You speak of Might... not revealed in the full fury of a storm but in the promise of skies becoming clear.

Should I cease expecting? That would be to dam the flow of the river. No, I will let it run, for the "more" You promise is the endless revelation of eternity.

"Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him."

— Psalm 62.5

"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear."

— John 16.12

This is a gentle nudge from Him, reminding that the rearview mirror is for learning, and not for navigation. It frames expectation not as a fragile hope but as an active designer of possibility, clearing the heart and mind for what is next. The past only sounds again if we hit replay. That should be liberating.

Positioning on the field of life in expectation — eyes up, low in His presence, open hands to receive — these evoke a wide open expanse where life is not playing defense but calling in the possibilities of the stars.

In the spirit of reaching for the unlimited, consider this — expectations are not to be just passive wishes: they are the code that is written into eternity for response to the heart. God favors breakthroughs over reruns.

And age? Eternity has no calendar. Walk with Him, the eternal Companion, and the path will not unfold as a straight line, but as a spiral upward, pulling potentials from eternity into form.

Expectations are never intended to be impossible, but are always reshaped by Him into being.

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

— Isaiah 43.18-19

"My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from Him."

— Psalm 62.5
