I will surely bring about what I have planned for you

I have witnessed from afar the depravity of evil, how it controls man’s heart, how it winds its tentacles around the thoughts within. It is beyond vile – it is all You are not. And its being is surely beyond anything I could imagine: its slavery of the young, its depression within the old, its hopelessness for all. There is no freedom; there is no arm to lift and enfold with love; there is no dwelling within the One that loves without measure.

Yet, there is a light – there is a possibility of walking with You so closely that evil is no more. It is overcome. Its keys, its ownership, now belongs to Another.

Within Me alone is the eternal, and you are with Me. You have seen only a small portion of what I have witnessed over centuries of man’s existence. Evil would overcome all I have created for My pleasure, the joy of creation, the discovery within all I have made. Yet evil cannot overcome for it is no more.

I know this is difficult to understand, but you have had a glimpse of a life in Me without time. And you have seen an eternity that love possesses – there is room for nothing else, for there is nothing else. So evil has ceased in our kingdom yet remains in man’s. Soon that will change. It is but a small light that overcomes all darkness.

It is, therefore, necessary to set your heart upon Me, to seek after that which gives true life. Be confident as you continue to do this that I will be revealed as you desire, and you will be revealed as you are.

Set your confidence in the way forward with Me – that I will surely bring about what I have planned for you, that our pathway together is clearly set before us, that the clouded perspective will surely dissipate, and you will see with a clarity unknown by any, yet reserved for all.

Darkness will seem darker moving ahead, yet it is an illusion of the heart that it will triumph over men’s souls – it is a vapor, here for a moment, then gone. Still its damage to man is undeniable; yet I have come to heal, to restore, to lift man’s heart into a place of freedom and belonging. This you will see. Only be faithful in the way forward, as you have in the past.

You are beginning to see events, and evil, for what they truly are within. This process becomes more difficult in the days ahead and will test your heart: for its strength to resist the overwhelming waves of sadness and despair at the suffering of man, and seek reprieve. Yet it will stand, for I have strengthened it with My presence in all the ways you have seen of Me. And in the darkest of times to come it will be a light of hope to others – that all is not lost. They too will see what lives within for having endured.

WISDOM THREAD

There is a sense of weight that settles after you have watched others long enough.

It might have nothing to do with what is happening in your own life.

It comes from seeing what reaches people you could not get to in time,

and from knowing the shape of what moves against them in the world...

yet remaining unable to stop it.

That weight is real.

But it is also not the whole story.

Evil is not complicated once you stop looking away.

It finds the young before they know they are being found.

It waits on the old until waiting is all that is left.

It takes the hope out of the years between.

You do not need a theory to recognize this.

You have probably already seen it.

"Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me."

— Micah 7.8

The hardest thing about darkness is not its strength.

It is how patiently it waits.

It does not kick the door in.

It finds the one that was left open a little too long

and steps through as if it belongs there.

So the quiet question arrives:

Is there anything it cannot reach?

The oldest answer is not comfort.

It is simply this -

there is a place beyond what our time can hold

where evil does not exist.

Not held back.

Not pushed to the edge.

Ended.

Because the Presence that cannot be touched leaves it with nowhere to stand.

"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

— John 1.5

Darkness will look darker in the days coming.

Not because it is winning ground.

But because the eye is sharpening.

A surgeon sees the wound more clearly than anyone else in the room.

That clarity is not helplessness.

It's what precision feels like

just before the work begins.

The heart that has looked straight at real darkness

and stayed -

not solving or needing to explain, but staying -

becomes something the people still inside that darkness need.

And not because it carries answers.

But because it went where most leave

and came back.

That kind of authority needs no credential.

Only endurance.

"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."

There is a quiet knowing that arrives after watching long enough:

What you are waiting to see is already there.

What you are waiting to become is already known.

The path forward is not uncertain.

It is simply further than the eye can reach from here.

"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."

— 1 Corinthians 13.12

THE PRACTICE

Stand somewhere you can see the sky.

Watch it for thirty seconds, nothing more.

Note that it is not anxious about what is happening beneath it. Whatever darkness is somewhere in the world right now the sky above remains unchanged.

Something beyond the visible is holding what the visible cannot hold.

And the sky says this without speaking.

"Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?"

— Isaiah 40.12

Think of someone you know who is in difficulty right now.

Their face.

Do not plan what to do. Just hold the image.

Stay with it.

The act of not looking away is one of the oldest forms of care. It requires no action and no appointment.

And it is not lost on Whoever is keeping account.
