It’s as if there is nothing more: with Your words I believe I know who I am, and my place within You. I know beyond this point there are unlimited possibilities – but am I ready? Do I even want anything else or am I content with things as they are; I do not know. Or do these other things just evolve out of our relationship much like they have in the past? I think I can only trust You – to let you develop within what is to be demonstrated without. It allows me to rest where we are together, without worry or thought of what I might need to do to move things along – and to be content with that process.

It is only man that worries. As you have seen this past week there are the cattle on a thousand hills, the great tree and the smaller ones, the leviathan whale, and the smallest of beautiful succulents – none worry. They live life to the fullest of creation, and display their great power and beauty as designed. They show, in tiniest detail, who I Am. They do not question their purpose, nor are they concerned about tomorrow – they are what they are meant to be, and then no more. You are not so different than they – you, too, are a display of My creative love.
There is purpose in just being, without worry for being as you were created, and living the fullest within that purpose. There is no fear for the future, no regret of the past, only being within the present moment. But there is also more – like Me to create, to extend the power within as compassion for that created, to nurture what you have seen, to display a joy at being together that none of creation can do. In that you are very different; it now becomes the task of melding the two. That is not something you can do, for it is unknown to you. Only I can touch a heart to reveal the potential; only I can move you within a future of creation, wisdom, and power. Only I can reveal to you an understanding and a wisdom that no other part of My creation can know.
And it is for that purpose you have been created – to know My kingdom by knowing Me. I have given that only to you, and no other. You have yet to understand that you too are all things, but together we are moving in that direction. You are wise to remain where you are, to nurture what you have seen and heard, to understand all things as I do. Yes, there is always difficulty, for this path for you is unknown, but this is the path of eternity. Be with Me and all will be revealed.

The imagery of “cattle on a thousand hills,” “great trees,” “leviathan whales,” and “tiny succulents” paints a vivid picture of creation’s diversity, each element thriving in its unique purpose without striving or anxiety. This reflects a profound truth: God’s design imbues every created thing with intrinsic value and purpose, sustained by His love.
This call to live fully in the moment, free from fear or regret, is both liberating and challenging. Fear often stems from uncertainty about the future, while regret lingers over the past. Yet, as Ecclesiastes 3.11 reminds us, God has “made everything beautiful in its time” and placed eternity in our hearts. This suggests that living fully now involves trusting that our lives, like creation, are held in God’s eternal purpose. The cattle don’t worry about tomorrow’s pasture; the succulents don’t regret yesterday’s drought—they exist as they are meant to be. Similarly, we’re invited to reflect divine love by embracing our identity as God’s image-bearers, living with gratitude and presence.
Creation itself is a teacher. The beasts and birds “know” God’s hand sustains them, and His love extends to “man and beast.” This implies a unity between humanity and creation, where we’re not separate but part of a harmonious whole, all reflecting God’s glory.
“We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade, the presence of God. The world is crowded with Him. He walks everywhere incognito. And the incognito is not always hard to penetrate. The real labor is to remember, to attend. In fact, to come awake. Still more, to remain awake.”
— C.S. Lewis (from Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer)
But there is also more – like Me to create, to extend the power within as compassion for that created, to nurture what you have seen, to display a joy at being together that none of creation can do. In that you are very different; it now becomes the task of melding the two. That is not something you can do, for it is unknown to you. God affirms that every individual is intentionally designed by Him, with a purpose that precedes their existence. This isn’t just about individuality but about divine intentionality—each person’s uniqueness is a reflection of His creative love. From a practical standpoint, this invites self-acceptance and confidence in one’s distinct gifts, countering the modern pressure to conform or compare.
God suggests that creativity—whether in art, problem-solving, or relationships—is a sacred act, a way of participating in His ongoing creation. Creativity isn’t reserved for artists; it’s in the way we nurture relationships, solve problems, or bring beauty to the mundane. It is melding being with doing, and urges us to integrate our identity with purposeful action.
There is a dynamic relationship where His guidance unfolds our potential over time. Trusting this process requires patience and surrender, especially in moments of doubt or uncertainty. It is a call to radiate God’s love through our actions, impacting others and glorifying the Creator—an eternal, radiant influence.
God's love is a cycle of giving that had no beginning and never ended. God never started to love us, but loved us before we existed and brought us into being. And thus God's love never ended: not in death and judgement, not in sin and pain. It is the very ground of our existence."
— Julian of Norwich
“Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”
— Daniel 12.3
Only I can reveal to you an understanding and a wisdom that no other part of My creation can know.
And it is for that purpose you have been created – to know My kingdom by knowing Me. I have given that only to you, and no other. You have yet to understand that you too are all things, but together we are moving in that direction. You are wise to remain where you are, to nurture what you have seen and heard, to understand all things as I do. Yes, there is always difficulty, for this path for you is unknown, but this is the path of eternity. Be with Me and all will be revealed.

The call to “know the Creator” as a unique wisdom suggests a relational pursuit, not merely intellectual knowledge but a transformative encounter with God’s presence. True wisdom is personal, experiential, and tied to God’s character. Press on with the assurance that God’s revelation is as certain as the dawn—for knowing the Creator is both a gift and a lifelong endeavor.
Staying present means anchoring myself in God’s current revelations—whether through scripture, prayer, or life’s moments—while nurturing them through reflection and obedience. This practice guards against spiritual distraction, fostering a rhythm of faithfulness that sustains the journey.
The unknown path and the call to “trust the journey” find vivid expression in Isaiah 42:16, where God promises to lead the blind through unfamiliar ways, turning darkness into light. This is profoundly comforting: the Creator doesn’t just guide but transforms the path itself. Uncertainty is not an obstacle but an invitation to deeper reliance on His guidance. The eternal nature of the path suggests a perspective beyond the temporal, where hope is anchored in His unchanging nature.
"I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.”
— Isaiah 42.6
