Conformity in behavior is not conformity in Spirit

Day 106

I see You working within the rules of society, though not agreeing with them completely. I see men subject to bondage, living in fear, without a future, barely getting through life, without hope and sustenance. Yet within that life You have brought the kingdom, with its abundance of freedom, prosperity, hope, and joy. It was within that You brought the eternal without of Your presence. You brought miracles and hope to all levels of society – from the poor to the rich, from the weak to the powerful. In the end, for many, it was the rejection of what could be for the much more comfortable what is.

I wish not to compromise but to bring the kingdom to men the way You did, through the existing system of governance – to bring hope, miracles, prosperity, presence, possibility, and purpose to those lost within their choice of conformity or rebellion. I choose to live, that You might live through me. But I choose to make each choice as You would lead.

There are many examples of living within society yet not conforming to it, no matter the position held within. Continue to see that as My way of touching all whom I love, not just the poor and needy of that society. All need Me, rich and poor, high and low. To be willing to go where sent is the only prerequisite.

Conformity in behavior is not conformity in Spirit; it can be purposeful for the advancement of the Kingdom. Your willing heart, whether circumstances are understood or not, is all I need.

For as I am free from all these things, I have subjected myself to every person that I may gain the many. And I was with the Judeans as a Judean that I may gain the Judeans and I was with those who are under The Written Law like those who are under The Written Law that I might gain those who are under The Written Law. And to those who do not have The Written Law, I was as without The Law, while I am not without law to God, but in the law of The Messiah, that I may win those who are without The Written Law. I was with the weak as weak that I might gain the weak. I was everything to every person that I might give life to every person. I have done this so that I might be a partaker of The Gospel.

Do you not know that those who run in the stadium all run, but there is one who takes the victory? Run in this way so that you may obtain.
