Live at the place of creation and not the place of desire

What you are experiencing is Freedom. It is that you are beholden to none, able to be and express without an awareness of repercussion. Are you distracted with Freedom? Certainly. Yet it is here that you would need to consider your actions. Freedom provides the opportunity for the expression of possibility unknown. Awareness should not so much be placed on what you can now do for yourself, what you can experience for yourself, but the opportunity to help others to be aware of the freedom that could also surround them.

You sense Freedom, yet when others are around, return to old habits of thought. Freedom allows for the thinking beyond the old habit, beyond the prior experience, and into the new unexplored. Can you sense this freedom beyond your own personal desire? Can you reach for the possibilities that might be expressed from the focus within? What are you feeling?

I am here yet would not want to be ignored due to your sensitivity of freedom of expression by you believing you are alone. Expression should come from us being together. And that requires your awareness of Me in all you do. It is not ignoring others but is walking in the awareness of Me yet being free to explore the moment. What can be released?

And so it is again that we have come to the exploration of the end from the beginning. Freedom allows for what is thought, what is imagined, to be created. What is seen within can become without. There is no analysis or reason in this discovery, only that the desire has been seen. Can one live from the end, from imagination? It is the process of creation that will bring about the impossible into existence. It is the way that the heart’s desire will become. Have I not desired you? And here you are. You have been created out of my imagination, from My heart. And now you are free to do the same. Freedom allows for creation.

And so set your heart, and your imagination to create. Begin to ‘see’ once again, this time with understanding that you are to ‘see’ from the place imagined, that what is seen may become. As I have with you so now you with others. What will be done for them? What will you imagine? Search your heart, for that is the place of discovery.

My heart wants so many things, has so many desires. Only now do I begin to understand that desire alone will never bring about desire fulfilled. I must now ‘see’, as You have been saying all along. I just wasn’t aware of what that might mean until now. That essentially it is not just seeing the ‘end’, the desire I want, but living from the ‘end’ as if the desire is already fulfilled. Only then can it come about. Your desire to ‘create’ me is just that, only a desire from Your heart. But to see me from the beginning of my life as I would be today, and beyond today, allowed for my creation. The desire to be together is the fulfillment of Your heart. I can begin to see that now.

And now you have a small understanding of creation. Live from the end and not the beginning. Desire is only the beginning: there is not just desire and then prayer; there is desire and the prayer of understanding for creating the desire. Live at the place of creation and not the place of desire – live at the end and not the beginning.

A WISDOM THREAD

Everyone talks about vision.

Very few talk about location.

Where you are standing when you see -

that is what changes what becomes.

Most people stand at the beginning of what they want, and look toward it.

That posture produces planning.

It does not produce creation.

There is a difference.

The investors who hold the ten-year thesis today - who see the company as it will be seen when the market finally does - are not guessing.

They have changed their address already.

They live inside a future that has not yet arrived outside.

The founder does the same.

The architect.

The teacher who forms a student for what they cannot yet see in themselves.

None of them are working toward something.

They are working from something.

From the end.

From the already-real.

This is the distinction between desire and creation:

Desire asks: "How do I get there?"

Creation says: "I am already here."

One produces effort.

The other produces the thing itself.

The further discovery is this:

The most powerful creative act is not a vision of your own future. It is a vision of someone else's.

To see another person's fullness before they can see it - and build from there.

That is a different order of work entirely.

For instance:

The portfolio built for a future humanity will inhabit.

The product that answers a question the user has not asked yet.

The organization that forms people for the best version of themselves.

All of these begin in someone standing in another's future..

and calling it into the present.

What do you see for the people you are building toward?

Not what they have asked for.

What they are capable of - what is already in them, waiting.

Stand there.

Build from there.

Then watch what follows.

THE PRACTICE

I.

Once each morning - before the day begins to demand your focus - choose one person.

Not a project.

Not a problem.

A person.

Hold them in your attention without any agenda.

Without what you need from them, or what they might need from you.

II.

Ask one question, and mean it:

"What is the fullness of this person?"

Not the version you see right now.

Not the version you have history with.

The version that has always been there - the fullness of what they were made to be.

Hold that. Stay with it.

Do not fix it into a plan.

Do not make it useful.

Just see.

III.

Then carry the seeing into the day.

Let it shape how you listen to them, how you build with them, what you expect of them.

This is the oldest creative act:

to hold another in the imagination of their fullness, so that what is in them - already present, already real -

finds what it needs to become.
