You are not beyond wholeness, understanding, wisdom

Day 149

I think about Elliott, how one has a possible ‘mastermind’ to protect the real person from personal pain of the past, the helpful one for moving into the future, that allows the ‘real’ persona to be in the now, somewhat without fear, and sorrow, and regret, and guilt. I could see a mastermind bringing in a form of religion, kind of an alter ego that would provide a place of comfort, peace, and rest from all that prevails against the real; like a substitute life that allows the real to cope.

I would not want this with You; I would be free to give all that I am, all I would think myself to be, into true freedom: to reveal all without holding any. And to allow You to touch everything that would be healed into wholeness. I would have the real me be the one that touches other lives and systems with the true presence of You. I know deep within that change is not by my strength or will but by Yours, and it is from there I would move and have my true being. I think life is learning to walk in this freedom, freely given by You: the life that forgives, restores, empowers, and is productive for the kingdom. The real me with a true purpose for living.

You are seeing the ‘real’ you, as you would call it, from the perspective of your understanding, and that understanding can be flawed: it is the self-diagnosis – and the one who would provide the cure, coming from the one who has been injured. Can healing come from that place? Can there be wholeness from one who does not understand wholeness? Can healing of the heart come from one who does not understand the pain of the heart and how it might be healed?

Yet you know Me – My great love for you, to see you as I have made you, to walk in wholeness and fullness into the person I have made you to be, as I see you. My presence is more than sufficient to heal, to restore, to forgive, to guide into freedom; for I see you as you are, beyond all that you can see.

You are with Me, and in My presence, in My heart; this is all you need ever be to have truth revealed in you. For truth, the true you, is only revealed in Me for I only know who you truly are: My child, My possession, My revelation of Me, and My great love for all I am through you. You are not beyond wholeness, understanding, wisdom: you are all those things revealed through Me. In that is your freedom, your true self.
