Day 255

If there has been one overriding thought experienced in the last couple of weeks and seen displayed in the magnificent beauty that I have witnessed, it is this: that one must always move further away, to zoom out if you will, to see the larger context. It applies not only to how the original beauty seen was created, or the unfolding geopolitical crisis, or even my life in You – all reveal a much larger perspective when viewed from afar. It’s as if details become a distraction – important, but usually interpreted incorrectly.

Is the war in Ukraine a telling example? Is Russia truly seen as a threat to the US-Europe alliance? Or is there another agenda at work, where peace is not pursued, and people suffer huge dislocation, distress, sadness, even death for this agenda to succeed? Is there no compassion, no concern for freedom, no care for a people? Are they to be sacrifices in the evil pursuit of the power of an agenda? It seems to have always been so; yet, in the end, that power always loses. Have they never learned?

But the point has been made to me: to see my life more in relation to You, and how we are together, rather than so mired in the detail of my wants and desires, or the events I manage to muddle through. Even if I move through these events well – with care, compassion, and generosity – they can still occupy all of my vision. It is the proverbial vision of fighting the enemy while being shot in the back with arrows that sap my energy, when I should be on the mountain with You seeing the enemy’s entire battle layout. But it’s difficult to move away from this continual approach to life and to see it from Yours.

You see how man is always much more comfortable with a plan, even if not his own. He is much more at peace when he knows direction and possible results. And the results must be to his profit of more power, more possession, more individualism. Rarely does one lose his heart and mind into My plans for they do not lead to his satisfaction. Or so he thinks. The very things he lays his plans for speak to his understanding of the things he believes his heart to want, yet he remains unfulfilled because he does not see his heart in truth. If he did he would choose My path.

Yet I have not abandoned him to his own ways for I guide his steps each day that he might walk in My way: the way of love and great possibility that he has never experienced. A way unique to him and Me alone. In his mind he sees his goals from afar, believing them to be pure, yet does not see the steps he takes to reach them; for if he did observe the moments he would see that each step would lead to Me. But he chooses each moment and decides for Me or his own way. Still, I will not abandon him if he chooses unwisely, for My heart yearns for his presence, his safety, his full expression of life unique to him. It is I Am that desires him above all else.

And so look beyond what you see and realize while it may be large in your eyes it is but small in Mine, for what I have created for you is beyond your comprehension, beyond what you can imagine. It is this journey I would have you take, the larger vision beyond what you are currently seeing. See the detail, the clarity of what you are seeing, but always keep the vision of Me before you. Only in that way will you experience all I have for you.

I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself,

that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Jeremiah 10.23

Many are the plans in the mind of a man,

but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Proverbs 19.21

You see how man is always much more comfortable with a plan, even if not his own. He is much more at peace when he knows direction and possible results. And the results must be to his profit of more power, more possession, more individualism. Rarely does one lose his heart and mind into My plans for they do not lead to his satisfaction. Or so he thinks. The very things he lays his plans for speak to his understanding of the things he believes his heart to want, yet he remains unfulfilled because he does not see his heart in truth. If he did he would choose My path.

You see how often a man weaves his own path with threads of comfort and control, seeking contentment in the familiar pattern of plans—even if not his own. He finds peace in knowing the direction he is heading and in anticipating outcomes that favor his own prosperity—whether it be power, possessions, or personal accolades. Rarely would he lose his heart and mind into My plans for they do not lead to his satisfaction. Or so he thinks.

Consider this: the plans he meticulously crafts for himself are based on his current understanding of what he thinks his heart desires. But these desires, shaped by the world's standards, rarely lead to true contentment. They are like mirages in the desert, promising refreshment but vanishing upon closer inspection.

[Ascribe: Here is an invitation to surrender to a higher, divine plan. In spiritual traditions across cultures, there is a common thread of wisdom that suggests our true fulfillment comes not from amassing more for ourselves but from aligning with a purpose greater than our individual ambitions. When we lay down our self-made plans and open our hearts to divine guidance, we begin to see our true desires in a new light.

This is not about relinquishing control but about discovering a deeper sense of peace and purpose. When we choose to follow His path, we might find that what we thought we wanted—power, possessions, individualism—pales in comparison to the joy of connection and the richness of living in accordance with a higher will. Here, in this alignment, we might find that our heart's true calling is not towards accumulation but towards the profound satisfaction of contributing to a larger, eternal plan.

In essence, we embrace the vulnerability of following a path not seen but felt, trusting that God knows our heart better than we do ourselves. In this trust, we might just find that the peace we have been seeking was always within reach, hidden only by our own plans, waiting for us to step into the light of a greater design.]

In the tender embrace of My guidance, there exists an unwavering commitment to each soul's journey. Therefore, I have not abandoned him to his own ways for I guide his steps each day that he might walk in My way: the way of love and great possibility that he has never experienced. A way unique to him and Me alone.

In his mind he sees his goals from afar, believing them to be pure, yet does not see the steps he takes to reach them—for if he did observe the moments he would see that each step would lead to Me. But he chooses each moment and decides for Me or his own way.

Still, I will not abandon him if he chooses unwisely, for My heart yearns for his presence, his safety, his full expression of life unique to him. It is I Am that desires him above all else.

[Ascribe: This passage suggests that your life is not merely a series of actions and reactions but a sacred walk with God. Every choice, every moment is an invitation to align more deeply with love, and with the purpose of what you truly are meant to explore and express.

Your goals, seen from afar, might seem like distant stars, pure and untouchable. Yet, each step you take, if observed with the heart, reveals a path where He and you converge. You are invited to see not just the destination but the journey as sacred.

Even when choices lead away from this path, God does not withdraw. Instead, there's an enduring patience, a loving heart that yearns for your return, for your safety, and for the full blossoming of your unique being.

His yearning for your presence underscores a beautiful truth: you are cherished beyond measure, not for what you achieve but for who you are becoming in relation to Him. This relationship, unique and personal, is one where you are never truly alone. Even in your missteps, there's guidance, a chance to learn, to grow, and to return to love.

Therefore, live each day with the awareness that your path is divinely guided, that your choices are part of a larger, unknown walk with Him. Embrace each moment as a step towards not just your goals but towards a deeper oneness with the "I Am" that desires your presence above all else.]

Look beyond the confines of what your eyes behold, for what might loom large and insurmountable in your sight is but a speck in the grand design of Mine.

Imagine, if you will, that the universe is a canvas painted by a love that surpasses understanding. What you see now – the challenges, the joys, the mundane – is merely the brush stroke of a moment in an eternal masterpiece. This journey you are called to embark upon with Me is not just through the landscapes of your current reality but into the realms of infinite possibility. It is this journey I would have you take, the larger vision beyond what you are currently seeing.

As you navigate through life, let the details not overwhelm you but instead, let them be the signposts that guide you to see and hold fast to the vision before you, for it is in this connection with Me that your path will illuminate with true purpose. Like a beacon in the night, this vision guides you not to wander aimlessly but to walk with intention towards a destiny crafted in love.

[Ascribe: This means grounding yourself in the moment while simultaneously lifting your eyes towards the eternal. Each step, each breath, is an opportunity to align more deeply with the Creator's vision for you. In doing so, you open yourself to receive blessings, insights, and peace that are beyond human imagination. Your life's journey then becomes not just about enduring, but about living it in its fullest expression – where every experience, no matter how small or large, is a part of His plan unfolding for your ultimate good.

Therefore, live each day with eyes wide open to the beauty of now, but also with a heart ever tuned to the whispers of God – ensuring that your life is not just a journey but a pilgrimage towards His fullest embrace.]
