Day 45

I do have this way of seeing outside myself. I see what is happening and have an opinion of what kind of involvement there should be; or I see (or hear) a description of something, and can visualize it in the same manner and build desires around it – I guess it is hard to look within and create from what I see there. Having not looked much at myself that way it seems difficult to create something more than what I can see. Does that make sense?

The issue is that you are looking for yourself within, and not looking for Me. And so, you can only see who you believe you already are. It’s trying to create something new from something static; there is no growth. But if you look for Me within then you can create what you see. In a sense you are creating an expression of yourself as Me. In that way there is always expansion, revelation, and the deep desires of your heart, because they are Me. As I said, look for Me.

You are unfamiliar with this type of seeing, and so I will teach you. First, you cannot see as you have always seen; you must look with new eyes. And that is coming to you – as you have looked for Me you are beginning to see our Kingdom in ways you have not seen before. As you see, pray what you see; that is believing, and so creation can occur. Pray not your desires, or needs, or even that which you already understand, but pray what you see. It is through that process that your desires will be revealed, your hopes seen in life, your prosperity revealed.

Hearing, you will hear and you will not understand, and you will see and you will not observe. - Isaiah 6.9
