Day 63
These are the specifics I see: the enemy lies before me, arrayed with strength, numbers, skill, and insight into my life. I face him with the assuredness of only Your word. I do not have his skill, but I have Your strategy. I do not have his numbers, but I have You. I do not have his weapon of fear, only the realization that he is fearful of You. Yet I am the one called to battle.
How much better for me if You would fight that battle, for victory is then assured. But I know I am called to be the overcomer – and so I shall; and I can, I feel, if I have Your word – it is what gives me strength and the hope, that regardless of what happens, I will always have You. And that is all I need.
But there are others that I somehow do not feel concerned for, but think I should, because they are with my family – I care for them but I am not sure how to bring those concerns, or lack of them, to You. I know the enemy will use the tactic of fear, not against me but against them, and that makes me unsteady. How can I move forward without the concern of attack against them?

The enemy’s one great weapon is fear, and he uses it skillfully. It freezes a man’s heart and his actions; it casts doubt in his ability to cover all fronts, and magnifies the endless negative possibilities going forward. The main desire is to have man do nothing. Having him do nothing, or be confused in what to do, preserves the enemy’s kingdom. And therein lies his weakness: if you can focus your attention on Me, and My words, and remove all the thoughts about what could happen, then the enemy must deal with what lies before him – a wisdom and a strength he knows he does not have – nothing compared to what you have with Me. It is that fear which has then come upon him. How does he defeat that which has already defeated him?
And so he casts doubt in your mind about what has already happened to him, to give him more time to wreak his havoc upon men, that I might be hurt. But I am not, for I know exactly who I Am, and what I have decided to do. It is My plan, My strategy, My might that has prevailed, and you will see it; but only if you trust in that which you have heard.
Your family will be encouraged and strengthened in their resolve for going forward with courage and might and wisdom because of your example. They will see one who trusts in My word when there seems to be nothing else to stand upon. They will see it is all that is needed. Know that I have them within My grasp too; the jobs, the safety, the future. Nothing has escaped My attention. Trust that I have their future well in hand. With that, you can move forward with great intention, great purpose, and great possibility to overcome that which may seem impossible. All will be overcome.
