Give everything away that you might have everything to give away

I think a lot about one investment, and read, and anticipate, all with a specific expectation of spectacular profit…and a change of life. I wonder how much of what I think is the desire for changing the ‘system’ life versus enhancing my own life. It is imperative to me not to lose what I have gained in relationship with You – even to have the means to alter lives or circumstances that would cost me what I have with You is not worth it to my soul. I know this may be tested; I would always be protected from this one loss.

Blessing is always difficult to handle, for try as one might, it always changes attitudes and the self-image. One sees differently, for possibilities are expanded.
I know and understand what you are feeling and know of your desire to remain with Me, to not lose what you have gained from our being together. It is the walk I desire for you, for how can My blessings be given without you? Can they just appear? Or are they given through others, those that have learned to give?
As with all things, as You remain with Me, I shall guide and teach you the way of My heart for others. You will learn to give goodness as I do, for that is who we are; you will learn to bless others as I do, for that is who we are; and you will learn to love others as I do, for that is who we are too.
If My kingdom is all things to all I have created, and freely given to all, then you must learn to do the same – be free to give all you have to others, for what you have is also unending. And that is the secret to not losing what you have gained in Me – to give everything away that you might have everything to give away.

True security in what you have gained spiritually comes from releasing freely and not clinging tightly. By giving away love, time, forgiveness, resources, encouragement — whatever form "everything" takes in your life — you participate in the flow of God's kingdom.
The "secret" He names here — to give everything away so you might have everything to give — is not about reckless abandonment of responsibilities, but about trust:
blessings are not static possessions to hoard;
they are gifts meant to move through you to others;
and in that movement, they grow and return in ways you couldn't do on your own.
His kingdom — and now yours — isn't a limited stockpile... it's an unending spring that never runs dry.
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap."
— Luke 6.38
