I am here to help you see the truth and to experience Freedom

Day 90

I am, once again, dealing with personal expression within the parameters of our life together. It’s as if I am trying to retain control while giving myself to something greater that I desire. Maybe I am trying to walk within the kingdom and still be in control, instead of releasing myself to something greater and grander; yet, because I do not know exactly what that is, I am still trying to retain control. It seems to be a compromise I think I need to make when there is none to be had – I know the kingdom is, and can be gained in no other way than to embrace it fully.

You have seen a truth unseen by many: that the kingdom is and is unmoved. I am unmoved in My steadfastness toward man and will always remain so. Man is always moved – by desire for control, for personal expression, for a power as I have. That does not change for him until he gives himself to being steadfast within Me.

The very thing man desires is the very thing he resists. You have witnessed this recently in your life: to express yourself in your personal fashion, to compromise, ultimately to be humbled by your own guilt that you may have what it is you truly want. It will always be so without a greater interaction together.

Our desire for each other must be so intense that all these separate attractions for you will become less powerful, and ultimately non-existent. Your desire for Me must be greater than your desire for yourself. That will increase for you day by day the more you give yourself to our relationship.

Even in your turmoil I am speaking with you: I am here to help you see the truth and to experience Freedom. I will always be with you, and I will always speak with you, but it must be your desire to always be with Me. It remains your choice. Now you have seen the result of that choice – perhaps an indication of choices to be made going forward?

I think that’s what it is: the issue of relevance. How can I believe that I can have an impact in this world if I do not have a sense of self, a sense of control, an understanding of personal power? It’s hard for me to imagine it all happening within the form of giving myself to someone else. I do not have a basis of understanding how that would work.

Because the expression you seek, the power to move and shape creation to your will, does not come from you but from Me within you. The flow of influence you seek comes from the flow of a life within Me.

You have creative power and express that power as you have been given, but it is only within Me that the power within you can be used in love and compassion. Otherwise, it is used only for your personal gain. It is only within Me that the power you have will ultimately be expressed the way you seek.

It is a human paradox that power is received when none is desired, where love is expressed when none is to be received, where influence and prosperity is received when none is sought, where everything you believe you must have is given up that everything I have for you might be received.

So, it seems to me that the very things I want to see and have are the things I do not receive, because I want them more than You?

It is why I have said to seek first the kingdom of God, and our oneness, and all these things will be added to your life.
