I would know you that I would know Me

Day 202

I feel I am asking about this war – how it continues, what nations might be involved, how it progresses, and its final outcome – because of a desire to know. I also sense the answers I seek would color any future commentary with others, much as a prophet. I am not sure that is what You have in the future for me. And so I would not ask – I do not want to go beyond this moment with You. I would be content to allow my thoughts of the future, and my place and purpose within it, to be revealed by You when that is to be.

A foretelling of the future is extremely burdensome, and for you, more than you could carry, for it is not without distress, much sorrow and anguish. Already you know what is to come by the conversations we have had, yet not in the manner you might be asking. Can you carry the responsibility to pursue that which would be needed to heal, and restore, and overcome? You might, but that is not for now.

You know with our being together that I am mindful of all, the plans of the enemy, the hearts of men, what lies within all their desires. They would seek to destroy all that is not within their vision of the future, all that they do not envision within their wants and desires. In truth, man does not care for man, only himself. But I have come to each that they might know that the burden of their life, the responsibility to uncover their purpose, is not within them but within Me.

How can the created know what they are created for? That can only come from the Creator. And so I have come that they might know Me as Creator, and in that come to know Me. I am more than purpose driven, more than a planner and executor; I Am, who cares and loves that which I have made and would see the fulfillment of everything within all I have created. I am not someone who would use what I have created to accomplish some purpose I have, an agenda, an ending I would seek. No, all I create is from Me; it is Me, and I would see and know who I am – I would know the depth of My love and My being in all I create. I would discover, observe, and nurture all I Am in all I make. And it is the response from what I create that reveals I Am.

Your presence, your desire to be with Me, is what I desire most, for in you I have revealed Me, and I would know you that I would know Me. It is not the future I would seek to know, nor so much the direction of man’s dreams and desires, important as they are to Me; no, what I desire most is you with Me, these conversations, these moments to be together. For it is here that I would know Me, and that you come to know you. Is this not your heart too?
