Day 25
I have danced around this concept of wealth, obviously without a clear understanding or I wouldn’t be having such difficulty with it.
I am aware that seeking possessions is false, as it reflects a fear of security; I feel a bit insecure because this part of my walk with You is unfamiliar, but I believe I trust in Your provision. I guess what I want to see in my life, and maybe recognize them as such, are the moments of provision and prosperity and wealth displayed much as You did – the abundance of food provision, the miraculous provision of coin for taxes, the 153 fish – the superabundance, never a lack event. Yet, I am a trader too; my job is to be profitable (even though I have learned much about myself) isn’t it?

The concept of wealth is difficult for one who feels that it is something withheld, as if in possessing it one has been without it prior. Wealth is not something to be gained but is. Much like freedom, you have it but do not walk in it completely. You desire to manifest wealth as if you have it and it can be displayed at will to meet any need you desire. While true in part, you miss the understanding of its purpose. It is not to be gained as much as an awareness of already having. You cannot gain that which you already have.
I guess I have difficulty in manifesting that which I already have. Like health when there is sickness, or awareness when there seems to be none, or wealth when there is a need. Is my trading experience just to be more of an understanding of who I Am rather than a profitable means of employment?
If your needs are being met, if you trust in Me to provide for all of them no matter your age, then why the need to accumulate? You measure success in life with that of others and not the unique situation which is you and Me together manifesting goodness to others. Seek to fill a need first and that which you desire most will be seen through your life. Profit for profit’s sake, without a purpose, is meaningless. Seek a purpose and the means will appear to fulfill it.
