Day 37
I sense the enemy would have us look at ourselves, would break us down from being united, to looking at individuals – seeing the differences, and by doing so, separate us from being one. Is that a possible ploy within his strategy?

Yes. As in war, and this is a war, separating from the group, and from each other, weakens the whole and divides the strength. Without the strength of each other it is therefore easier to destroy the weakest. A house divided cannot stand. In this time, I have called for you to stand, stand in the understanding, and wisdom, and strength of each other, thereby increasing the strength of the whole. Divide and conquer is not a slogan but a plan of the enemy. So, stand, and in standing, reveal the wholeness, the peace, the health, the desires of all.
It is difficult to measure or see any progress of the whole; it is so massive an undertaking. It seems much easier to look for incremental healing of an individual, a friend, a loved one. It also seems much more personal and loving. How can I maintain my perspective for the whole when the individual seems to suffer so much?
I Am the one that looks for the one, the lost. I can leave the 99 knowing that together they are strong, and wise, and whole. It is my job to look for, and find, the one that needs to be brought into the same place as the whole. I therefore need to trust that you will provide for the whole, not in the strength of yourself, but in the strength of each other.
The kingdom perspective is one: one body, one heart, one mind, one spirit. We are One. You can see the one lost as well as I, but if everyone has a diverted focus, then the objective of overcoming cannot be achieved. A single focus is required to overcome. If the group overcomes, then each overcomes. That doesn’t mean the individual is ignored – you can pray that in the time of testing, the time of pain and difficulty, that each would be strengthened, that each would be whole, that each would be healed, that each would be freed. But it remains the strategy to focus on the whole as well; the individual must be seen as part of the whole, and not standing alone. Touch with compassion for each but keep in perspective the whole.
