Day 201
Can it be that I have found a contentment in God that is the contentment always sought in my life? And is it that my sense of life is this way because I am not experiencing the difficulties of many others? Is contentment based on life experiences? Should it be?
Perhaps the questions should not be asked – it’s as if I am looking to justify my place within You. I would just cherish the moments I now have, that within them there is the peace and belonging I have always sought. Why look around for something else if the longing of the heart has been met?

Why indeed? Therein you see man’s dilemma – always the thought that if he possessed the one thing he desires he would be happy. It never resolves that way for there is always more, or so he thinks. But you have found that within Me is all you will ever need; and so, strife ceases, longing ceases, contentment and peace reign for the heart is at home.
But the eyes are always moving, seeing things differently than the heart. And so, the eyes need to see from the heart, in a new way, from the Spirit. Even now, from your opening questions, you can understand that it was your eyes doing the asking and not the eyes from within. The eyes within would not have asked, for they know already within Me lies all that is truly desired, all that is sought, all that is found. It is now for you to see with these eyes. Look within with your eyes and you will begin to look without to see the truth of all that you do see – you will see others differently, experience differently, creating within movement, breathing all that is Me. This is contentment expressed. This is Life.
You have not just arrived at a place, to have finally achieved that which has been sought. You are now here, a heart within Me – and where is that? What depths will you explore, what sights with new eyes will you see? What can be understood and learned? What wisdom gained? There is now for you a great vista of opportunity to explore that which you have been given and it is with these new eyes that this exploration can begin – you have not reached a destination but a beginning of discovery. What shall we see together?
