Each day you move through the heaviness is another day for rejoicing

You have mentioned many times that war is not just among men for possessions, or even ideals, but for men’s hearts. It seems this war is unknown by most and likely the cause of all men’s wars, for the heart can be corrupt. Even now for me it seems that there is no hope for a change: men do not want peace, would rather sacrifice everyone just for the primal urge within, believing they could survive and overcome that which always seems to overcome. It is all so sad and useless, yet leaders seem to always move this way.
Is there not just one of them with the power to gather all into what is right, and good, and hopeful? Is that even possible? I fear that there is not but only You. I do not see You yet and so can only remain hopeful and patient within my life span, and that of my family generations that might come. I do not fear what might come but have a heavy heart for what is to come. I yearn to see goodness, and peace, and prosperity.

I know your weariness for it is mine too. It touches My heart that man seeks his own comfort within himself yet finds none, ever, but persists in doing so. His is a false comfort, but it seems for him all that he knows. He believes there is no other. Yet I would give him all the comfort he requires if he would turn to Me. I wait for him to turn to Me, for I would see all live to their fullness. I care for each and want each. I yearn for each, I love each. I weary for each.
I could wipe away mankind and preserve only the good; I have before. Yet My love for him has no end, no boundary, no rest. I desire him and would keep all I can. It is why he still exists. It is for those like you. And there are more who will come to Me each day; more who have seen the light and yearn for it; more who have suffered greater than you will ever know; more in poverty, more in lack of vision, and hope, and joy than you will know. These I seek, for they are Mine. I will never give up on those who seek for Me.
Each day you move through the heaviness is another day for rejoicing that My heart has grown fuller for those I love. Stay with Me each of your days – each day for the potential you have in Me, all the possibilities of your being that are yours even now, everything that has been given. This will occupy your heart and give you peace that you might endure each day we wait.
Do not give up so easily and seek escape; you and your family will be sustained as we witness what is to come – not in just watching what happens among men, but in watching for men to reach their true potential in Me. It is what we seek, and desire, and hope. Do not give in to apathy, but actively seek to provide goodness to all who would come within all you create. You create peace; you create goodness; you create hope. In that place be steadfast, be resolute, be purposeful in each day given, regardless of circumstance, regardless of darkness. Do not be weary in doing goodness, for all darkness is overcome.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men.
– Galatians 6.9
For ‘do good’ looks back to ‘well-doing,’ and the word rendered ‘opportunity’ is the same as that rendered ‘season.’ So, then, two thoughts arise – ’well-doing’ includes doing good to others and is not complete unless it does. The future, on the whole, is the season of reaping; the present life on the whole is the season of sowing; and while life as a whole is the seedtime, in detail it is full of opportunities, openings which make certain good deeds possible, and which therefore impose upon us the obligation to do them. If we were in the habit of looking on life mainly as a series of opportunities for well-doing, how different it would be; and how different we should be! – MacLaren
