The rest for your heart that you truly want

I want to believe that perhaps things are not as they appear: that the great pyramid is indeed not a tomb built by man, but an inspiration built by God; that the visions of awakened men have meaning beyond just words on a page; that perhaps learned men of the past may have missed understanding when discussing the things of God. I want to believe in the revelation of Wisdom – maybe I want my own visions, my own experiences. I do not discount our conversations for they have meant more than anything else in my walk with You – they have been my best experience.

Why is my heart not settled within that which is now? Why the expectation that there must be more? Isn’t this relationship what I have been wanting for my entire life, and now that it is here, seems not as fulfilling as I thought I desired? I am not discontent – it is the pull of the unknown that drives me to the future.

The best experiences come from relationship. They are personal, they are between two. You could walk in miracles, experience visions that excite the mind and heart, gain the fulfilment of all your desires of walking with Me. And they will come in time. But there can be no substitute for companionship, for togetherness, for being. You sense it in your marriage – your heart cries for the belonging more than the experiences of being together. One lends to the other, but only after a bond is achieved.

We are in the place of discovering each other’s heart, the desire of both, the place of walking together. Allow Me to lead you into the paths of experience. Let me be the guide for their revelation. Trust that the kingdom you desire to see in all its glory will be seen – you will appreciate it that much more when you know the joy and love behind its revelation. It’s just for you; it’s all for you.

Look at the future, the little that has been revealed, and how the mind has run to great speculation of meaning and purpose. It is beyond your understanding as of now, but soon all will be revealed in truth. You want to believe, and that is good. You want to see, that is wonderful. You want to experience all that you know to be in Me – and I would give all, that you would be all in Me.

Just read, find joy in contemplation, speak with Me – find your contentment there for now. Take no heed for how all things you see will fit together; just see them for what they appear to be, but then seek Me for understanding, seek Me for wisdom, seek Me for truth, and allow that to be the rest for your heart that you truly want. Be here with Me.
