Dream unrestricted, for I know your heart’s desires

I think I need to be reminded often that my journey with You is not the same as my journey with any other. With others it seems more individualistic, more alone with thought and action, yet travelling with others I care about in the same direction. It seems like a pilgrimage of life.

Yet with You it’s different: You know me, understand completely, always have loving intentions for me at the center of Your heart. The intimacy is compelling – a journey as no other.

But I have this tendency to see our journey together much like I see all my interactions: that it’s me thinking and doing, and then watching for Your reaction, whether in circumstance or word. It seems like there is me and then there is You. I build a separation when there shouldn’t be any. I forget that my desires, wants, needs, hopes are all known by You, that I do not have to consider what to do about them, to have You then respond in some fashion, and then keep at it until I get what I want, noble intention or not. You know.

I forget You are actively involved in the manifestation of my desires at all times, that you encourage me to create these desires, wanting their fulfillment even as I do – if I allow You help me constantly to understand and develop them within my life. It’s not me doing something then You doing something; we actively work together for their revelation. I see my task is to pursue You in word and action, to trust You are active in bringing them to pass even as I am. It’s a perspective change from You and me to us.

You see even now it is My heart to have all of your desires come to pass. It is never a judgment of your desire but a development of trust between us that you allow Me to reveal them in the best way for you. If you desire a thing would I not have you want it? If there is a dream would I not want you to have it fulfilled? A hidden desire? A want you believe I would not desire you to have?

It is, again, the trust between us needed to make all your creations become as they should – that they develop into the fullness of expression, to reveal all potential, all treasure they contain. It is the same trust for their development as I have for you. I would not separate them from you, for they are you. I would not treat them differently, judge them, change them – but I would nurture them, have the same lovingkindness for them I have for you.

Your task, as you have seen, is to trust Me to bring them to pass even as you trust Me to bring you into the wholeness I have for you. The possibilities for you exist within the possibilities of your desires and dreams. Always be aware I am with you in all you do, all you think, all you desire, all you dream. Your thoughts become My thoughts, even as My thoughts are becoming yours.

And so open you desires to Me, for I know them. Dream unrestricted, for I know your heart’s desires. Reach for Me in trust that together they will come to pass as they should. This is love in action. This is two manifesting as one.

It is the revelation of the burning bush. You could have released Your people from the Egyptians alone – extended Your power, done the needed work to make it happen. Yet You chose a man to bring about the desire of Your heart. Why? Was it to fulfill a desire of Moses’s heart, something from long ago, hidden deep within, forgotten?

Is this relationship – that the desire of my heart becomes the desire of Yours, and Yours mine? That my desire for meaning in all I do is because You desire for me to have meaning in all I do – because You desire to have meaning in my life? I would want that, would want to be aware of it, would want to nurture You even as You nurture me.
