Day 233

Consider the first raindrops that fell to earth. In the beginning they were isolated entities. But soon they began to coalesce because it was easier to move or flow together. Over millions of years, these unthinking, inanimate molecules carved out rivulets, brooks, streams and rivers. Today, these tree-like river basins cover the globe, moving water from the plain to the ocean’s mouth far more efficiently than if the raindrops had been destined to seep by their lonesome.

It all hinges on freedom: the freedom of flowing matter to generate evolving. It is the secret sauce of nature. Our planet evolved from a fiery molten ball into a wondrous sphere of oceans and rivers, mountains and forests, cities and air transport systems because of the freedom of everything that moves to generate designs that allow them to flow more easily. Adrian Bejan put it this way to me: “Freedom is many physical (measurable) features that allow an observed object to change. No freedom, no change. No change, no evolution. No evolution, no life. Freedom is physics biological and non-biological and so is evolution, nature, and life.” - J. Peter Zane

And it seems to me that so it is with the Creator: that a man is first touched by Him, and that touch releases within the coalescing power of His presence, such that out of the man will flow streams of the living water of his creative force.

I am having some difficulty translating this concept, this awareness, into my present-day situation with work yet I know it to be an important revelation to continue to pursue. The issues plaguing my work are large enough to affect my thinking into the everyday ‘what if’ scenarios, thoughts that I would not usually consider as I believe the worry to be untrue yet cannot stop thinking in this way.

I know Freedom is at work and I have the confidence that the solution I seek is with Him. And so I will seek to ponder this ‘new something’ from Him, and dwell there rather than where I am at present. It’s a more enjoyable place.

Why worry about things that may or may not happen, or worry at all, when Freedom has released the power to overcome all that would consume your thoughts of worry? You are right that in Him lies your progress into the things of the Spirit, a Presence that translates into your circumstances.

I would free you from your destructive thoughts and instead lift you up into the place of creation, where the thoughts of Spirit become the creative force within you that changes those very circumstances that worry you.

It is, as you have seen with Gideon, an overcoming of the seen with the unseen, the unknown, the as yet uncreated. It is the power of touch that moves into an outpouring of creation. It is an awareness within circumstances, without the panic of supposition, with thought to creation, that miracles can occur. It is an assumption, and an expression of faith, that the power within is greater than the power of circumstance without. What one currently sees can be changed by the power of faith, and that creation can occur under any circumstance.

You also see that a small creative touch does not end with the touch, but that the creative force released continues to expand, continues to grow, continues to overcome until that which it seeks has been reached, and appears. The original touch has become the full intention of that for which it was started.

And so it is with a thought, a word. It becomes a movement of faith, an expression of creation, a revelation of Me. And in the presence of Me fear subsides, worry disappears, and the fullness of our life together becomes expressed in all things as I have intended, and as your heart desires. Situations change, opportunities abound, newness becomes. These are the miracles that are ever present within the one that seeks after Me.

If I can focus within this place of His presence, even within these chaotic circumstances, without the need of thinking of what might become, then I can have no fear of the future, but rather, can open up the possibilities of something much grander, than if I were to shepherd these circumstances into the direction of easing my fears alone.
