Evil will always be there, and will have its way, but will not be for much longer

Day 158

It just seems that I should be more concerned; is it that I am not aware, less caring than others, that what is happening to others, and maybe me in general, seems less important to me than it should? I seem to be content in Your presence, as if I am lazy, and not pursuing some solution to some really important issues that I could address with You.

It is the same for Me. It’s as if I am not making Myself manifest in man’s destiny to solve all problems, establish a kingdom on earth where men would abide by the rules of love and kindness to their fellow man, where all things are prosperous, where man has reached his nirvana of existence. It is an ideal of man that such a condition is real and worth striving for; he is unaware that evil is bent on his destruction. And so, we develop a reputation among men that we are uncaring, indifferent to their struggles, more concerned with the condition of their souls in the afterlife than their conditions here on earth.

And while it is true that their heart is My greatest possession, I do care for their life here as well – just not, perhaps, in the way of man’s thinking. I am not indifferent to man’s condition: his poverty, his subjugation to other men, his shortness of life, his sadness, loneliness, and despair. These trouble My heart – they were never meant to be and will not be once evil is no longer within thought.

For you it is the same – there is little you can do but relieve the suffering of man for a little while, those that you know and meet. You can develop a heart of caring for their condition and provide some relief. You can move in miracles to ease suffering, and poverty, and desolation. But until evil is eradicated these conditions will forever persist within the history of man until men rise up against evil with goodness, love, mercy, and kindness to one another. That is My purpose within their lives, to reveal Myself as the One with the power to move within their power for this to be so.

For now, watching with Me can be instructive, and it can be restful to your being, and that is needed for endurance. Trust that being with Me brings about the very purpose you have – to overcome the things in this world to bring about that you would wish to see. To fight on your own against this darkness can happen for a bit but then will become a disillusionment to you, for evil cannot be defeated in your own power, but must be through Mine. Being with Me provides all you would need to continue.

And so, cherish these moments of calm, of restoration, of peace. Evil will always be there, and will have its way, but will not be for much longer. You will need these times with Me for the final effort, for the enemy knows his time is limited, yet will do everything that it might be prolonged. Be at rest; for with Me you are not uncaring, not unloving, not unsuccessful. Watch, and wait, for the magnificence that would be released through your life for having been with Me.
