Day 177

Freedom. It is becoming much more than a concept, more practical. It is, more than I had previously thought, a form of You, and therefore, a form of me. It should be an effort of mine to see how it might be enabled within another – whether in work responsibility, the life choices of another, or their decisions regarding things I am involved with and how that might infringe upon my freedom. It is the antithesis of political control, authority over another, even in my protection from choices I would make.

I see that in our relationship – as long as I am choosing to be close to You in all of my activities then the choices I make are allowed, and the consequences then dealt with afterwards. I see that Your actions toward me is a pattern for my treatment of others. Is there a point of resistance when freedom is restricted by another? I think of the enemy – his strategy seems to be in defeating freedom, through deception mostly, even though knowing freedom has been allowed even for him…for a time.

As you now know Freedom is one that is alive, in that life is freely expressed without restriction, and that within Freedom is the capacity to be as one has been created. To stifle Freedom is to compress that expression it hinders beauty, function, joy; it prevents receiving, nourishing, growing. Beauty disappears, purpose diminishes, death ensues.

But I have come that Freedom might have its expression, and though choices are often made that restrict this flow, I have overcome all, that each might live in Freedom fully, and understand and grow from the consequences of its expression. You are free to think, and feel, and move within Freedom; and together we can explore all that would allow its greater expression. Freedom is nurturing, revealing, and is wisdom within this revelation. That which Wisdom has seen is then created and freely to be explored, freely to walk within, freely to prosper from, and to express without.

All things are acceptable, though with Me not all things are beneficial but we decide that together if we allow each other freedom to interact. I see you working to allow this in others, regardless of station, and that is good. Yet I also see you developing a resistance to those who would remove freedom from others, if that were possible, even if they would naively believe it is for the well-being of another.

And it is here you must choose – do I know that the choice of another would cause harm and stifle freedom within another? Or do I let freedom have its play that another might gain wisdom? And would they gain wisdom? Or should my wisdom be their knowledge? Each circumstance is a separate decision; there is not one decision that governs all – circumstances for children are different than for adults. Yet, to perhaps err on the side of doing nothing, at least with consideration towards letting freedom have its way, is always the better movement.

You will know when freedom is being abused, inadvertently or otherwise for personal gain. It is then the time to stand for freedom, to allow Freedom its expression. And there may be times when your freedom within appears restrained in some form so that others might know freedom, and that is when trust in Me is always the greatest choice. For whom I have set Freedom within is free.
