If you are in My presence you are within the presence of My power – and goodness overcomes

Out of the great abundance of the kingdom You fulfill the needs of others, whether a touch to the heart, or body, or within the depths of one’s being. You touch a specific, what is needed most as You see. You see and have the means to fulfill. It also appears You do this regardless of conformity, or correctness, or the establishment – whether political, spiritual, or any other ‘system’.

I think I rarely look for a need to fulfill; I think more I let the need come to me. And perhaps that’s the way it should be – I see that You did not go looking for those who were hungry in body but filled that need as You saw it – hunger is rampant, and continuous. As is poverty.

Even when I become aware of a need do I believe I have the means to meet it? Or, perhaps, its awareness already assumes the power is available to overcome? My friend's healing comes to mind: there is an obvious need, yet I seem powerless to heal. Without even that small thing how can one stand against the onslaught of political and economic systems that entrap so many into conformity – imprisoned by hunger, poverty, and fear?

The power you seek is found only in Me. It is not something one can pick up, as a tool, use for a time, then put down. It comes from within, from your being, from who you have been created to be. It comes from Me, for it is Me. As we are one it comes from you too.

Yet you are unaware of the fullness of its presence. You believe you can express this power to another when it comes to believing a spiritual change is possible, yet have difficulty believing for provision for another; is there a difference in this power required to meet either? Is one more difficult to accomplish than the other? Do you believe one is more important? You have this power yet have only used it because of the thoughts you have for its application. You sense a need to justify its use, to measure its use, and easily forget that it is a source of unending might and abundance.

As you have seen in your mind, the power of goodness moves of its own accord, relentlessly, and overcomes all that would come into its presence. You need to see it that way, much more than you do now. There is then no fear in its expression, whether against the evil it meets or the powers that would suppress it – if that were possible. This is the power of goodness, that it would consume all within its presence – to bring about wholeness, and peace, and prosperity – against which nothing stands, whether princes or principalities.

It is as I have always said, and becomes clearer to you each day, that all things are within Me. Therefore, you need do one thing only, and that is be near to Me. Would I want this power to be expressed as it is already within? Surely, but there is one way only, and this you know: draw near to Me and out of the abundance of My heart will flow the abundance of yours.

Then the proper question as I understand it is: how do I draw closer to You? How does that happen when I move through my day, meet my obligations for work and family, and look to the future?

You judge your heart and your actions too harshly – as if they need to conform to some acceptable ideal you have in your mind, that all things would then come into their proper being. It is never to be: do you not yet understand that being with Me is all you need for the accomplishment of all your heart's desires – that being with Me brings freedom, brings healing, brings prosperity? If you are in My presence you are within the presence of My power – and My goodness overcomes – without thought, without measure, without conformity. It is. Set your heart always towards Me and see the wonder of what love can bring.

[Goodness is manifested through being. It is not just from without, but also from within. It is an angel that would lead out of incarceration, out of poverty, out of sickness and disease. The power of your touch to free is not so much released from you as it is goodness being released from within the one being touched. You awaken it within, and from within goodness manifests without. Your touch is a power to release, to free, to express, to be. Your touch allows it to be so.]
