Love is more than a thing to be given and received – it is life itself

I feel that I am at a new place within our relationship, one where I sense the need to be completely open and honest with my beliefs and understanding of our relationship. I know that everything about me – my fears, understanding, hopes, dreams – all are known by You more than I. There is a certain freedom in that knowledge, but at the same time an awareness that I sometimes resist the loving invasion, as if I would hide myself a little, that I might be somewhat private.

Yet, through these days of communicating with You, I have begun to sense a kind of freedom in knowing that I am exposed in all my thoughts, and feelings, and desires. Much so, that I feel freer in ‘letting go’ with all things; I guess it might be a greater place of trust has been enlivened with Your kindness being more revealed to me. I can be free to be who I am because I have grown in understanding of who You are. It is knowing You a little more that has freed me to question all things: for a better understanding, a greater wisdom, and more opportunities for the one I would truly want to be. There is less fear in giving myself to You.

Our relationship was never meant to be one of dominance, as if in the act of creation I would bend the created to My will. All I have created is to be free to live to its fullest potential within My vision for it; to release its form that it would be free to become all I have hoped for it.

Love is released that all may blossom – to reach, to sense, to bend within to that which loves it completely without judgment. That is true freedom. Beauty may be transitory but love remains forever, and that love endures through change – whether in form and being, joy and sorrow, poverty and prosperity. It is not given then taken away, for love is more than a thing to be given and received – it is life itself, born to live, and grow, and prosper, in all its possible manifestations. It is eternal.

Love allows you to express it through all your being, in all of its ways possible through you, that it may discover in that expression to always be within that from which it came – Me. Love has not changed from its first creation and will not. Love therefore allows you to be with it wherever it goes in Me, whatever it chooses to do, however it desires to be expressed. Its freedom is your freedom; its joy is yours; its creative work to be expressed through you. Where love is there is no fear, no judgment, no withholding – it is relentlessly moving, creating, being. It is this you are sensing and moving towards as love draws you into Me.

Even now you consider how difficult it seems to hear My voice, to draw near to Me, to speak with Me when there might be nothing to express, to inquire, to question. Yet, you always have a response when you draw near. That is love, wrapped within itself, free to express, free to be – and always will be so.

Love is a force: immovable, relentless in pursuit. Can one capture the ocean in a paper bag? Yet, it can be seen in a moment, transfigured, as if within a mirror seen by new eyes.
