I would ask what might happen in the new year; but I would rather concentrate on Christmas this year. I feel that for the last few months You have laid a foundation of walking together, a companionship unknown in the past. I have longed for that for years, and now that it is here I do not want to rush anything but enjoy each moment to its fullest – in understanding, in wisdom, in purpose.

Even now I sense that Your words and actions may speak to a larger purpose in men’s lives, but always seem to speak to my personal circumstances: so sometimes I look for the larger influence, like writing, and miss the personal connection that was the purpose all along.

I am not so subtle as to not show you all things that I Am and have for you. You are learning to not leap ahead of now, and not to see so far ahead that you miss the journey of the moment. The depth, the wisdom, the understanding you seek is always with Me now and not in a future time. All things to be revealed are now, and not later. Be content with Me and all things will be revealed when they come, for they will not be here before their time.

True contentment lies in the awareness of what is and not of what shall be. You are learning this and have seen reminders in many ways. Learn to be here with Me. I know that may be difficult when your heart is in discovery, with many questions to be asked; all in due time will be revealed. Let us enjoy our time together now that we may enjoy our time in the future – nothing will be lost, whether events, your time, or your desires.
