Day 33

I can feel the panic creeping when I read and think of the possible negative outcomes of the election this November. Yet, the control and the pressing down of that panic only comes from hearing Your words of adopting a battle stance of giving, of providing comfort, encouragement, and hope. Is there something specific I can do as I encamp at what looks to be a long and arduous campaign of overcoming going forward?

In facing battle a commander would study plans, gather supplies, and encourage those who are in the assault with him with words of comfort, strength, and peace. Remember, you do not war against men but against the evil that would destroy men’s souls. What you have read is meant to defeat so within your planning read that which will assist in overcoming. What you have seen, and will see, is meant for you to lose hope so see My words as the means of hope for a future. What you feel in the creeping of poverty, lack, fear, sadness, and death begin to feel as the enemy’s final attempt at the destruction of creation. But remember, he cannot destroy unless men give up their perception as creators. What the enemy destroys is rebuilt, restored, and becomes even greater than before, but only if men believe it can be so. If they believe, they can create.

Begin your planning thus: continue to prepare the body with stores, places of rest, methods of peace for the soul. That would be higher thoughts, a surrounding of My word, a training of focus in health and strength. This to be followed by a consideration of the same for the rest of the body your family, friends, and those within your range of acquaintance. Know that this circle will enlarge moving forward.

Beyond the body is the understanding of the place of oneness. That is not just a saying but a spiritual truth of great depth and meaning, for it is here that the warrior will rise. But he cannot rise alone he must be one with those who rise with him. That comes from seeing others as they are and extending to them that which you are – a warrior of compassion. So you must not withhold from others that which you may seem to lack for yourself, but to remember that you lack nothing and so are free to give that which you have your stores, your wealth, your wisdom, your peace and hope. All these are in Me, and you are in Me.

This beginning is the beginning of trusting in Me, for I will not abandon you. You must rely on Me, for you cannot, and will not, defeat the enemy in your own strength, or even with the strength of others with you. It must be in My strength. Therefore, you must develop a strong, confident, and enduring trust in Me to withstand the lengthening assault required. Know that with Me you will overcome, and in overcoming will bring the great peace, joy, and prosperity you have seen within My kingdom. There can be no other way.
