Why settle for less than all when all has been given?

I see this relationship, only years later, similar to the beginning of Your relationship with Moses at the burning bush. What desire drove him to this discovery? Were there issues of life, struggles to find this God of his ancestors, was there a God at all, and why now for His appearance? Or maybe it was just curiosity. Yet he searched, and eventually discovered Your presence. It was only many years later that he would request to see You and it be granted – and see Goodness passing in front of him. Perhaps in the intervening time there were only conversations. Still, I can’t imagine that this desire to see You was very far from his heart.

It relates to the depth of desire: the initial desire to come to completion is what is sought, and only then is greater desire released. It’s as if desire is never fully fulfilled, as there is a deeper desire that takes its place. The desire to hear My voice leads to the deeper desire to see Me; it is the course of relationship, the more is always desired, always seemingly unfulfilled.
And it is the same with Me – I would have all of the kingdom revealed to you; it is My desire each day that this would come about. Will there be a point where this is accomplished? No, for the kingdom is always expanding – there is always more to be revealed. Such is desire. Once touched it only creates a greater one.
As with Moses, the initial desire grew to a greater one, and yet he could have asked for still more, for there is always more. Why settle for less than all when all has been given? Yet it is the judgment of man when he believes he has received as much as he wants – but most times he is afraid to ask for more. He judges what is enough, what is most favorable, what satisfies his heart, and does not know there is a greater contentment available.
