Even now you have begun to see that all the actions of man – of war, of selfishness, of the pursuit of power and money – this sense of maximum possession and strength within – have taken a different perspective within you: these are now set in a box, placed at a distance, removed from desire, and in their stead have come the great desires of goodness, of being, of purpose within a kingdom that has no boundaries: endless possession for all is given, endless power and strength for all is known, endless joy and happiness for there is now peace and rest.
This from You on May 16 resonates continuously as I am constantly headlined with the ESG and DEI movements. It’s difficult for me to ignore the morality loss in the USA from these movements. Then again, I can see from a corporate viewpoint the risk to profits by ignoring them. Businesses are trapped – accept the agenda or have the business destroyed by government action. I sense the difficulty on many levels for corporate boards, yet must we destroy humanity for the sake of profit? Eventually both cease to exist.
I see my struggle in accepting the inevitable; I seek to fight against this evil action even now. But perhaps this is its intent – am I distracted from You by evil’s actions? Or should I seek to understand evil’s actions from the place within You? This seems to be the place of Wisdom, and strategy of overcoming. Reminding the heart of Your words is of the greatest help.

I know you are affected by the destruction of man upon man, that you see in the desire to overcome evil that where evil resides must be destroyed too, and not just evil itself. And I know you have no sense of place or action within this lack of understanding; nor should you. You are trying to deal with an evil that has permeated the heart, and the idea that overcoming this evil would be to destroy the heart. Yet you understand that it is also this heart where I abide. And the battle is there, for it is evil’s intent to destroy Me, to destroy the One that brings love, freedom, joy, and peace in exchange for desolation, hunger, and death.
The enemy’s desire is that the heart becomes hardened, cold, and unoccupied, a forgotten relic of what was once a connection to Life, to Me, to Creation – to remove the Light from man such that he becomes as nothing, a dark void. But the enemy knows that is not to be. A light always shines brightest in darkness, and that Light has come to all men.
You must understand that within the depths of man’s heart there is a yearning for this Light; it can’t be ignored without consequence, for I have put it there. But it can be suppressed within the dark moments of idealism, power, control, and personal acquisition, as if these victories would define a man’s success in life. It is a delusion of the enemy.
Men are trapped by evil thought, and taken away on its tide of destruction, unable to see ahead what is to overtake them. You cannot be held responsible for fighting against that tide, for all men seek to live. But you can be conscious of evil’s parent and set your sight there and know within your heart there is where the battle lies.
Most men know within this to be true but cannot make the sacrifice to move in this direction, for they are blinded within that moment of perception and move as they always have; but you are not of them for you have chosen to be with Me. If all men would choose this path the enemy would be overcome; but it will not be.
You believe now it is only through Me that the enemy can be overcome and ask why I have not risen to do so – but you do not see clearly, for I have risen; I have given all that the enemy might be defeated, and it is so. You see this apparent non-action the way you have seen most things of our kingdom, through a glass darkly, much as you see yourself. But I have come to bring a light to you, to reveal all things, even the conquest of the enemy within your own heart.
You shall see this Light, as you are a part of it, live within it, as it lives within you. Be patient in watching for it and you shall see it. Look for it in all you do and think and feel. It will reveal and guide your actions moving forward in response to those who would snuff it out if they could. It will not fail if you remain in it.
Has that helped? Perhaps only somewhat, as your understanding still remains limited, but that is changing day to day. Trust in the work I am doing in your heart. Trust Me that I will have the fullness of My heart revealed within yours.

His words are like a lantern shining against an endless night. They remind us that the void we see isn't the end — it's the possibilities within which we move. What might be this life?
Yet, the enemy's schemes would thrive on isolating us from the fullness of this life, with a slow frost creeping over the heart until it forgets the warmth of living and its purpose. He would have the soul drifting in the cold.
But here's the quiet truth: every hardened heart contains a fracture where light slips in uninvited. Not by force, but by His grace — a spark that defies the dark. This light reveals the shadows of men's lives that would hide all possibilities, but would now form these shadows into stories of their return to Him.
In that Light, we are not seen as relics tossed aside. We are remade.
And have become the Light.
"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned."
— Isaiah 9.2
You must understand that within the depths of man’s heart there is a yearning for this Light; it can’t be ignored without consequence, for I have put it there. But it can be suppressed within the dark moments of idealism, power, control, and personal acquisition, as if these victories would define a man’s success in life. It is a delusion of the enemy.

Do you sense within an innate pull toward something greater than life's fleeting triumphs, the stress of having to accomplish, the need to become someone you are not?
His "Light" manifests:
in quiet acts of kindness that remain unseen,
in the touch of a sunset that stirs the soul,
in the courage to let go of the reins gripped so tightly.
The enemy's delusion is clever:
It dresses up our intentions as progress — idealism as a mask for unchecked ambition, control as security in a chaotic world.
But those dark moments? They are like shadows cast by a fire we cannot see, growing longer, enveloping our thoughts until we are exhausted. It is in these moments that yearning breaks through... can this desire for freedom — for Him — come to pass?
What if embracing that yearning isn't about abandoning the fight, but releasing ourselves to redirect it:
not toward acquisition,
but illumination,
not by what we hoard,
but by how freely we give the Light back into our world?
What if surrendering to yearning isn't defeat? Might it then become release, become freedom, become success refefined? Releasing the reins doesn't mean wandering lost; it means galloping wild toward the horizon He created us for.
Embrace the yearning and be captured by Him.
"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me will find it."
— Matthew 16.25
Men are trapped by evil thought, and taken away on its tide of destruction, unable to see ahead what is to overtake them. You cannot be held responsible for fighting against that tide, for all men seek to live. But you can be conscious of evil’s parent and set your sight there and know within your heart there is where the battle lies.

If all men would choose this path the enemy would be overcome; but it will not be.

This is the human condition — a tide of fleeting impulses that seeks to pull us under, while the true current we should travel flows from a deeper source. God reminds us that survival alone isn't the victory — awareness of Him is the anchor, and choices made from that position will set the true direction of life.
Most catch a glimpse of a fork in the path but turn away, choosing comfort for safety. The "parent" of evil — call it the structure of doubt and pride, even the ancient adversary — thrives within that blindness of comfort.
Yet, by choosing to be with Him you step into a lineage of believers: the prophets who saw the unseen, the disciples who witnessed the impossible. This is your heritage.
Not all will follow; many are carried away by the tide of complacency. But the one heart that does choose this path erodes more of the enemy's shore than any flood.
"Enter through the small gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
— Matthew 7.13-14
You shall see this Light, as you are a part of it, live within it, as it lives within you. Be patient in watching for it and you shall see it. Look for it in all you do and think and feel. It will reveal and guide your actions moving forward in response to those who would snuff it out if they could. It will not fail if you remain in it.

In His thought is the invitation to lean in, to let the Light dissolve the unknown enemy we have harbored within, and not just illuminate the one on the outside. It's much like frost yielding to the sun.
Patience isn't passive waiting; it's the place of action where roots deepen. Therefore, in every one of your thoughts that harbors doubt, every feeling that skirts the edges of fear, and also every action that reaches to express kindness — the Light gleams, unquenchable. Remain in it, as it remains in you.
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."
— 2 Corinthians 3.18
"The people dwelling in darkness have seen a great Light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a Light has dawned."
— Matthew 4.16
In the reverence of this season — this December 24th:
He appears like a candle held against the longest night.
